Reporter John Bigboote- With the first round of the playoffs over, we saw several teams with the same record face each other with 2 victors emerging, being the Springfield Zephyr and 6th seed America's team. They will now be facing teams which had buy weeks, which may end up hurting in the fact that both bye teams had very productive games that went to waste, america's team will be facing off against number 2 ranked Scrappy scales tails, who beat america's team earlier in the season. Former basement team the roughriders emerged as the top team this year, will be facing defending league winner Springfield Zephyr, we caught up with the coach of the zephyr
Goodie: We had a very good game last week, we performed better than what the critics and analysts said. This week we have the roughriders for now the third time. We are confident we will be playing in the championship game. We have several favorable matchups and we are playoff veterans, we took week 1 single handedly against the roughriders despite the tragic loss of Tom Brady.
Bigboote-Earlier this eason, the Zephyr won against the roughriders by a commanding 30 points, despite it being a low scoring affair with the loss of Tom Brady. They met again in week 10 wherre the roughriders squeaked by a 2 point victory, a defeat that the Zephyr have not forgotten. Both teams have made playoff adjustments and analysts are predicting a 6 point victory for the Zephyr, only time will tell which team will come to play. This is a symbolic game in itself. Last year the roughriders were the victims of bad play and finished very poorly, yet came back to take 1st place in the league. The zephyr, defending champions, have been marred by injuries and player morale yet managed to survive to make the playoffs. The winner will play the winner of scrappy\america's team for the title
