AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Indianapolis at New England - Indianapolis 37 points
Indianapolis is a monster scoring machine. They face a tougher defense than KC or Denver, but won't face the firepower of either. The Pats cannot expect to squeak out a low-scoring win against a team that scores at will 90% of the time they touch the ball, cold or not. Marvin Harrison is no longer the only target, James is running solidly and the Pats will face too many looks to pull this out. And...four of the last five AFC Championship games have gone to the visiting team.
NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Carolina at Philadelphia - Philadelphia 29 points
I'm not sure who to really root for in this game, as both have a lot of emotion coming into this game. Philly is in thier third straight NFC title game, and the fans will accept nothing less than a Super Bowl berth. Carolina was written off before the playoffs started (by myself as well) and showed the world that they can play with the big boys. I think it will be close, but in the end, Philly will pull this one out. If Peyton Manning is the Joe Montana of this age, then Donovan McNabb is the John Elway of this generation. He can carry a team if they get down. The D will have thier hands full covering Smith, Muhammed and what could be a double-threat of Stephan Davis and DeShaun Foster...but it'll come down to the heart, talent and drive of McNabb. I picked an Indy/Philly Super Bowl before the playoffs started, and I see no need to change that now.
