AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia -

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indianapolis at New England - Indianapolis 37 points

Indianapolis is a monster scoring machine. They face a tougher defense than KC or Denver, but won't face the firepower of either. The Pats cannot expect to squeak out a low-scoring win against a team that scores at will 90% of the time they touch the ball, cold or not. Marvin Harrison is no longer the only target, James is running solidly and the Pats will face too many looks to pull this out. And...four of the last five AFC Championship games have gone to the visiting team.

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia - Philadelphia 29 points

I'm not sure who to really root for in this game, as both have a lot of emotion coming into this game. Philly is in thier third straight NFC title game, and the fans will accept nothing less than a Super Bowl berth. Carolina was written off before the playoffs started (by myself as well) and showed the world that they can play with the big boys. I think it will be close, but in the end, Philly will pull this one out. If Peyton Manning is the Joe Montana of this age, then Donovan McNabb is the John Elway of this generation. He can carry a team if they get down. The D will have thier hands full covering Smith, Muhammed and what could be a double-threat of Stephan Davis and DeShaun Foster...but it'll come down to the heart, talent and drive of McNabb. I picked an Indy/Philly Super Bowl before the playoffs started, and I see no need to change that now.

I am just one that enjoys the game. I don't have the time to keep up with stat's and all that stuff, so to all you serious fans my comments below are just that.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indianapolis at New England - Indy, total 39

(I gotta go with Indy...I have very fond memories of the city itself, and is the only place I've ever seen an NFL game live)

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia - Philly, total 42 (I'll go with an 'over' on this one)

(let's see if Carolina can give Philly almost an entire field length in holding penalties (by the same player), as they did to St. Louis Saturday...lol..!!)

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indaianapolis at New England- Indianapolis 42pts

Indy's offense is just too high powered and hot for any defense to try to stop, and with too many weapons. Manning inches one step closer to his elusive dream

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia- Philadelphia 36pts

Although I hate Philly (and I do) Donovan McNabb is from Chicago, so I have to have loyalty to my peeps from chi-town

i get the AFC right, but not the NFC. oh well....

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indianapolis at New England - Indianapolis (44 points)

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia - Carolina (37 points)

I had originally predicted New England vs Philly for the Superbowl, and while that still is a very likely possibility, I'm going to betray my own prediction by picking the exact OPPOSITE for this weekends games.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indianapolis at New England - Indianapolis 41pts. What's to be said? Colts are amazing this year, and I really like their chances in this game.

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia - Carolina 39 pts. If Philly does not get their act together, and play better than they did last weekend against GB, this game will definitely go to Carolina.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indianapolis at New England - Indianapolis 40 (I have really come to like the Colt's. I like Peyton as the QB and Marvin because he is from Philly. I think Indy has the NEEDED firepower to overcome the Pat's team.)

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia - Philadelphia 40 (Homer in me says D'OH, er I mean Philly all the way) I hang my hat on the fact that Philly has beaten Carolina once pretty handily, however this is John Fox who confounded Reid when he was a Defensive Corrdinator with the Gaints, so I can't count out Carolina, and I must say I like Delhomme and Steve Smith and thier gutsy play last week.

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indianapolis at New England - Indy (55)

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia - Carolina (67)

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Indianapolis at New England - New England-49 points- I am one of the few who think that New Englands D is underrated and will give Manning, James, Harrison and Co. some fits

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Carolina at Philadelphia - Carolina- 39 points- Maybe I am biased cuz I am spitting sour grapes about the Giants disappointing season and want to see nothing more than Philly get knocked on their ass but there are holes, let's face it. If they play like they did against GB, they are going home to play golf. John Foxx has done an outstanding job with this club and they have them believing they can play with the big boys and WIN!!

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
