TMF Subsection for Tickling Sessions?

A domme friend of mine recently asked the best way to let TMF members know what her schedule would be and when she'd be in town accepting tickling sessions. It doesn't have to be a professional of course... I'll be traveling to SoCal in a month and would be glad to meet up with someone.

I told her that I'd found sessions in two ways:

1. Through the Personals. Since it's geographically separated, she can just post in the region that she'll be visiting.

2. Though here, Tickling Discussion. That's how I found the session with Justine Cross recently, for example.

It got me to wondering if it was worthwhile to set up a subsection specifically for traveling sessioners (models, etc.). FetLife has a group for Models/Producers, which is somewhat similar. Tough to know if it would get enough traffic to justify its own subsection, but thought it was an idea worth tossing out there for consideration and comment.

It's a good idea to have such a section here, I think it has been suggested before. Could be under misc. I think if you want it to happen, you'd PM the mods.

Why not? It costs nothing and could add to the popularity of TMF. To prevent any possible trouble, TMF could publish a disclaimer to the effect that TMF supports no sexual activity or nudity, but rather supports tickling as an amusement. This way, TMF can't be said to be tickle pimps. They are just providing an alternate source of amusement.

There are some liability issues with offering a specific section for session work that does not lie within a paid ad sub-form.

In English, if we offer a 'meet a session person' forum, and something bad happens, we are open to litigation.

So personal or posts in the discussion forums are how it goes. Many women who offer services place a link in their sig, and post about the forum, and the sig acts as a business card. Which is another valid way which does not imply our formal okay of the individual and open us to liability.

I very much appreciate all that the mods do to keep this forum the best of its kind in our community. But I don't think that setting up a section about sessions would create a liability risk. By that reasoning, if two people meet up via the personals section and one does something bad to the other, there would be a liability concern for TMF. But there really isn't.

This is a great topic. I offer paid sessions and it would be great to have a specific sub forum to post in, but I can see Myriads point.

If people want something, they will look for it and eventually find some answers on there own I guess.

Myriads makes sence, but I also want to mention traveling fetish models happen so rarely, there wouldn't be enough traffic anyway if they had their own sub-section. The thing seems to work just fine the way it is.

No, the difference is that the session section would involve cash exchange for services. Which opens us to a number of enabling of prostitution charges, enabling fraud charges and so forth. These can lead to counter suits that are horridly expensive to even defend against, let alone lose.

In contrast the Personals are a strait up connection site for consenting adults that involves no cash for services aspect. We face no hurdles there in veracity of action, as it's not a money transfer interaction.

Litigation is a massive risk, that we always need to take care to avoid. Even when it means limiting services.

Litigation definitely is worth avoiding. I don't personally believe that having a website where there is a section where the focus is people talking about offering fees for services opens the website managers to legal risk of civil litigation such as enabling fraud. On the other hand, the idea of a law enforcement agency viewing it as enabling prostitution is a possibility I had not thought of!
