Rage - What's one thing about other people that always pisses you off?

Bad driving. Cutting me off, not letting me merge, going the wrong way down a one-way street...

I've eaten an entire tub of a large popcorn at the movies. I did it more in high school.

Get my wisdom teeth removed. I put it off for years because I was scared of the pain and the forced break from playing saxophone. Then one of my teeth got infected and the choice was made for me.

Will - When's the last time you really had to push yourself to accomplish something?

Right now, trying to lose weight. It's always a struggle for me.

Hope - What's one thing you hope for someone else in your life right now?

I hope those close to me who are looking for new jobs find them.

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react?

I try to be compassionate when my roommate takes over the apartment with her grad school art projects. I doubt that counts though.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?

Sure. Being in love colors everything in my life, especially when it's mutual. It makes me smile at random times during the day and perpetually gives me something to look forward to. It makes the world seem more optimistic.

I'd love to pick the composer Arnold Schoenberg's brain about music.

Snobbery. How some people have no right to be, but yet are, some of the most stuck up people I've ever seen. Ever notice that some folks just don't grow up from their school days and still think it's cool to be ignorant to others?

Sorry, can you tell I just witnessed such an act? 😛

Absolutely I have! A few times actually. A carton of ice cream after a sad breakup, a bag of Doritos for dinner back in college because that's all I had laying around and a box of Swiss Rolls (I prefer them over Ho Hos) because I had PMS.

I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that came to my head the quickest.

Fear - What's one thing you had to do, that you were terrified to do, but you did anyway?

Bathing suit shopping.

Will - When's the last time you really had to push yourself to accomplish something?

This morning. I had one of "those nights" last night and when I woke up this morning, I didn't want to get out of bed. But I did. Puppy had to pee. 🙂

Hope - What's one thing you hope for someone else in your life right now?

That my best friend's mom beats her battle with cancer.

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react?

When my friend showed up late last night in tears after she visited her mom, who's been diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. I definitely could relate to how she was feeling so I just listened and let her cry on my shoulder. Poor girl is working two jobs, planning a wedding and now this.

She seemed to feel better when she left so hopefully I was able to help.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?

Absolutely I have been in love and it's the most wonderful feeling ever! It didn't really change my views of the world as a whole but it certainly made my world a happier place. 🙂


Death - If you could have a conversation with anyone no longer living, who would it be and what would you talk about?

My mama. And it would be about how much I love her, how often I think of her and how thanks to her love, strength and encouragement, she helped mold me into who I am today. Oh and also I'd ask for her to save me a seat in Heaven. 😛

Denis Leary puts it best... people who "drive really slow in the ultra fast lane while people behind them are going insane!"

Jumbo bag of BBQ chips out of desperation trying to watch full Lord of the Rings Trilogy with my buddies in one go... it was meant for a party but it didn't make it there.

Tell my girlfriend about my fetish and the TMF.

Last summer I was really pushing it at the gym and lost over 40 pounds.

One of my really good friends here is going through a rough time in her life and I hope she is able to get through it and come back soon.

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react?

I honestly can't recall... had enough of the opposite lately.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?

I'm in love with my gf now and it's hard to explain but in simplest terms I would say that being in love to me means always having that special someone who can make your day positive, even if it's been completely negative.

Death - If you could have a conversation with anyone no longer living, who would it be and what would you talk about?

Same as last time but my grandfather to understand the man he is: he had a stroke before I was born and I never got to hear him talk except for when my mom showed me the video of her wedding with my dad where my grandfather spoke... he struck me as eloquent.

Rage - What's one thing about other people that always pisses you off? Absolute rudeness- ignoring me when I greet you, continuing to chat on your cell phone while I help you. Apparently politeness is dead.

Avarice - Have you ever eaten an entire box/bag/bucket of snack food by yourself in one go? What was it and what was the occasion? I've done it more times than I'd like to admit. I've eaten a whole bag of chips once, not those little bags but a big one.

Fear - What's one thing you had to do, that you were terrified to do, but you did anyway? I didn't have to do it, but once at Valley Fair, I went on a rollercoaster for the first time ever; the slowest, simplest rollercoaster my friends and I could find. Fuck, never, ever going to do that again. I'm glad I didn't piss myself; I was that terrified. Overall I'm glad I tried it, but never, ever will you see me ride a rollercoaster again! 😱

Will - When's the last time you really had to push yourself to accomplish something? Um, hmm, I can't really recall anything.

Hope - What's one thing you hope for someone else in your life right now? At this moment, a quick recovery and hope that nothing else will go wrong for my friend's youngest sister. Already this year she's had surgery on both her knees and last week had surgery to remove her right ovary because there was a cyst as big as my fist on it. She also had an allergic reaction to the anesthesia and accidentally caught her finger in the door of her car. So yeah, life hasn't been kind to her lately.

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react? A couple of months ago, my coworker came to work just bawling and muttering "I hate him". I thought at the time, she had gotten into a fight with her boyfriend or something. Thankfully there weren't any customers in the store so I went to the bathroom where she was, sitting on the floor, still crying and I knelt down and hugged her. For the longest time she just cried on my shoulder until a customer came in then it was back to work. Eventually she regained her composure and work went just fine. Until I found out why she was crying. It was a particularly crappy evening so her dad decided that he didn't want her driving to work so he drove her in and that was why she was crying. Oy, teenagers.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is? Yes I have been. Overall I felt a deep happiness that I never felt before. I guess I saw things a little more positively.

Death - If you could have a conversation with anyone no longer living, who would it be and what would you talk about? Elizabeth Cady Stanton and women's rights. Her struggles and how things have changed since her time for women. 🙂

I don't eat snack food, really. I dislike snacking.

Fear - What's one thing you had to do, that you were terrified to do, but you did anyway?
Going to NHLee 2008, my first gathering, was one, although I didn't have real terror there. My going to the Albany Gathering 2010 on Sunday, after skipping the rest due to some mental issues, is closer. I barely made it there, and I'm surprised I stayed as long as I did. Note that this isn't to say the gathering itself was bad; I was (and am) in bad mental shape, and that was the cause.

Will - When's the last time you really had to push yourself to accomplish something?
Hard to say. Me pushing myself tends to occur when the thing to be done absolutely *must* be done soon and I can no longer put it off. That could be my BIOL exam yesterday and today (working on it until 4:30 this morning).

The last time I really pushed myself hard to accomplish something just for me? I have no idea. I haven't done anything really "me" in some time.

Hope - What's one thing you hope for someone else in your life right now?
There are so many people in my life I hope things for. I hope those I care for that are sick and keep getting sick get well. I hope all those I care for that are seeking jobs find them, and good ones. So much to hope for.

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react?
I try to be compassionate whenever I can. Usually, people seems happy to receive it, although I am certain I become annoyingly compassionate often.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?
I wasn't sure at first, but I think I was, once. It ended up leaving huge scars and mental baggage that cannot be shaken. I look on the world now with a better appreciation for many things but also with great sadness for things I formerly never had any desire for but now miss, having had the tiniest taste of them.

Death - If you could have a conversation with anyone no longer living, who would it be and what would you talk about?
I'm tempted to say my dog, which I answered for a question like this before, but I suspect you want a human being. EDIT: Note that the fact I didn't put one is because I couldn't come up with one and forgot to answer it. 😛

I have, and I could go on such a rant about this, but I'm seriously not in the mood. Long story short is that my view of the world became much more jaded from it.

Just anyone who lived in my town during the 1830's, since that would simplify my term paper sooo much! XD

I carried my father's ashes to the gravesite. Not fear actually, but I loathed to take that last walk with him.

At the doctor's today to schedule tests that I have put off for a long time.

I hope that my daughter has a long, happy, and prosperous life.

Last summer when a friend's family member died. They seemed comforted by me helping.

Yes. It seemed to make the world less of a pain because I was focused on her.

Holiday Cocoa Chex Mix with Mini Marshmallows. The first day of the year they are sold, I buy a bag and eat the entire damn thing. Just cause its tasty.

Cleaning my house before I left to Florida on vacation a couple of weeks ago.

They find a chance to rest, because they truly need it.

I listened to a friend when they really needed it even though I had plans to go out. I stayed in, canceled a date knowing they just needed someone to talk to, someone to make them feel important, someone to make them feel loved.
They cheered up and are getting better day by day.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?
Yes. I love my children. Looking at those I thought I was in love with I realize now I was not (women). I do not think I ever have been in love with anyone else but my children. I think I have not been able to because I am skeptical in nature about almost everything. I assume there are ulterior motives all around me and there has not been that one person who seemed to care more about or just as much about me as they do themselves.

My grandmother. How much she saved me, made me feel loved and Id want to tell her about her great-grandchildren.

My new workout routine. Going from 3 days a week to 5 has been hell on my body.

That all my friends find jobs who are looking and get better who are sick.

I've been trying to help my landlord find another tennant for a month now. They've been greatful for the help.

One of the guys from my training class at my new job needed a ride home, so I gave him one

I have, indeed. Every experience is different depending on the person and the circumstances. It's never really changed my view of the world, because the world isn't all about me and one other person. My views on individuals, relationships in general, what I'll tolerate and what I will not tolerate, how I want to be in a relationship and how I don't want to be -- all of those things have changed, but that's not the world. The world is way biggah.

My paternal grandmother. I think she would have alot to say that I need to hear.

Impatience and those who are quick to judge

Oh I'm sure I have, lol... not in some time, but I love cashews I can go thru a tin of those suckers in no time, LOL 😀

Fear - What's one thing you had to do, that you were terrified to do, but you did anyway?

Pulled off an end-run of the leadership in my former company.... it was very very risky, but something I felt passionate about and it had to be done for the betterment of the people we served. It was a success.... very proud moment in my career 🙂

Will - When's the last time you really had to push yourself to accomplish something?

Well, the above certainly would fall into that category, lol... that was a couple years ago. It was the hardest fought battle I've ever waged.

Hope - What's one thing you hope for someone else in your life right now?

That as my friend continues to assert her independence and her own values, that she will find every success moving forward... and I'm sure she will 🙂

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react?

A lot of friends and people I know need some encouragement, compassion and someone to lend an ear from time to time... I'm always happy to do so, knowing the same will be offered to me when I need it.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?

Yes... it's a thrilling experience and can be very painful too. I'm not sure it changed my view of the world, but it sure has provided me an eye opener and perhaps made me a little more wary/scinical in the short term.

Death - If you could have a conversation with anyone no longer living, who would it be and what would you talk about?

Toss up between my great grandfather and my late grandfather.... they both were profound influences in my life growing up and I miss their advice/insight.

Rage - What's one thing about other people that always pisses you off?

well...people know my history with speeding tickets...lol...so one thing that always pisses me off are slow drivers, especially ones that drive slow in the passing lane >.<

LMAO...I can down a pint of icecream on any occasion. Kraziedog saw me do it...I think it was technically in 2 sittings, but it was within hours of eachother 😛

Fear - What's one thing you had to do, that you were terrified to do, but you did anyway?

Tonight..I had to sing queen of the night for master class..in front of my peers..judging me. It actually went REALLY well, and my classmates were all like "DAYUM!" 😀 I was very proud.

Will - When's the last time you really had to push yourself to accomplish something?

I have a lot of motivation, but the hardest is to stay persistant with motivation. I think I had to push myself last term to not lose my mind. It was such an overwhelming amount of work and I was spread really thin, but I survived.

Hope - What's one thing you hope for someone else in your life right now?

I hope, as many others do, that my friends will find jobs.

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react?

My friend's boyfriend broke up with her the other day, and so I listened and gave advice (which is funny because I really have no experience in this field, but I observe a lot...so I tend to have good input). She felt much better afterwards. I still feel bad for her, and the breakup was pretty messy 🙁.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?

I can't really answer this romantically, but I realized what true love for another person is when I met Baldadonis and Kraziedog last year for the munch. Seeing people actually care that much for me I had never known, and it changed my view on how I choose friends and who my REAL friends truly are.

Death - If you could have a conversation with anyone no longer living, who would it be and what would you talk about?

I would really like to talk with my Dad's Father. He passed away last year, and I never got to meet him before he died (he lived in Germany, so the trip was never possible for me to make unfortunately). I would want to talk to him about so much. My dad never told me much about him, and I've always wondered about his life, because apparently I'm just like him. He was a musician and he had so many hopes and dreams for me. I'd like to tell him how I'm doing and how much success I've had in my field (and I'm not even OUT there yet) just in this past year. I'd like to talk to him about his experience in the war and what it was like. I'd like to talk about music obviously and what inspired him. I'd like to talk to him about our family and his bonds to people. I'd like to talk to him about MY bonds with my family, and how he thinks I could improve them. I'd like to talk about his travel experiences and just get an idea of how his mind works.

Rage - What's one thing about other people that always pisses you off?

When someone tries to win over my Domme, either sneakily, or blatantly
obviously right in front of my face.

Avarice - Have you ever eaten an entire box/bag/bucket of snack food by yourself in one go? What was it and what was the occasion?

Girl Scout Thin Mints. Not in the last year, but anytime I buy them, they
do. not. last. There needs to be no occasion.

Fear - What's one thing you had to do, that you were terrified to do, but you did anyway?

So many things. Like killed bugs.

Will - When's the last time you really had to push yourself to accomplish something?

I had to push myself to get out of bed this morning. Then again,
that's every morning.

Hope - What's one thing you hope for someone else in your life right now?

I hope my friend J gets to buy her unicorn house at a reasonable
price.

Compassion - When was the last time you showed another person compassion? How did they react?

I showed compassion on Brent by not helping Nicki torment his
feet all weekend (much). He reacted with not an appropriate
amount of gratitude, considering my generosity.

Love - Have you ever been in love? If so, how did being in love change your view of the world? If not, why do you think that is?

Yes. It's always made me think every song on the radio is about us.

Death - If you could have a conversation with anyone no longer living, who would it be and what would you talk about?

My grandpa. I'd ask him if he ever thought he would have loved his kids
instead of despised their existence if he had left my borderline-personality
disorder-ridden grandmother, and how it would have changed his kids today.
At the same time, I'm glad I remember them both as loving grandparents. It's
a shame they never loved their own kids though.

I do solemnly swear to make dogs yelp when you touch me, and to
hurl the most creative insults and obscenities at you, and that my
Daddy owns NEST, will always own NEST, and can have you tossed
