Starting in October (4th to be exact) TNA Wrestling will get it's long awaited 2 hour time slit on Spike TV. That plus the coming of RVD (and his fan base) should be a big boost to the company. If your a wrestling fan who like alot of action over stuped angles with untalented in ring performers then this will be the show for you. Put aside you beliefe that WWE is the only show in town, there is no WWE programing on Thursday nights so you have nothing to lose by watching TNA on Spike TV, and if you enjoy it you'll have everything to gain.

Your lauding of TNA as superior wrestling is a bit ridiculous, since they are the kings of misusing talents and scripting angles over wrestling. Kurt Angle holding all the belts and his awards show, the whole Pacman non-wrestling angle, Cage's constant interviews with his henchmen, etc, etc.. I'm happy for TNA to get a 2 hour spot but alas I don't have high hopes for the company and its abysmal track record of poor booking.

Don't jump the gun on the whole RVD thing. I would LOVE to see him in TNA but last I heard he wasn't interested in wrestling right now much like Jericho a couple years ago (can you believe it's been over two years). On a positive related note, Jericho seems like he IS ready to return to wrestling and I cannot wait until that day rolls around.

And it won't be to TNA.

Hmm. I do think they have to share the throne with WWE on that.
Ridiculous gimmickmatches though, that's TNAs domain. 🙂

Oh I know Fiend. I guess I should have mentioned that in my post before.

Where to begin...

First of all Fiend, I could care less where Y2J goes. Thats not to say it wouldn't be great for TNA, but if he wants to work for a slave driver like McMahon, who like nothing better the a nice Memorial Show to boost raitings (and don't be suprised if it is mr Irving who gets it) thats his moral issue. Next, TNA does put on a better in ring product, and it's PPVs tend to revolve around the wrestling more then the anything elts. I do feel it is a mistake to focus on the Story side of things as much as they have, if I wanted that I would revert back to my WWE ways. TNA should focus mainly on the in ring product thus making them different from the other guys, and giving people a reason to want to watch them. Who'd want to see an impersonator when you can see the original.

Putting all the titles on Angle was a mistake, I believe the intent was to have him win it all, and then lose it all in one night (No Surrender PPV). He still has the world title, and "Team SlackMan" will lose the belts at the next PPV to Tomko and AJ Styles, That was a major fubar, and who ever thought that up should lose their job. I watch TNA for it's great in ring workers and thats what they mainly have. There are a few exception, but in general they are very good. Plus suporting a 2nd company make the market compedative and forces WWE to produce better stuff. It's really a win/win.

I'm a TNA guy all the way, and if RoH gets a regular cable show, I watch them to. Anything is better then WWE, except maybe that show MTV had. Oh and there is nothing wrong with Christian Cage's comical spots with his troops, because he can back it up later with a good-great match. In closing I knew guys who said WCW couldn't beat WWE, and for 84 weeks STRAIGHT they did just that. If it hadn't been for some bad deals, and in fighting it might have been WCW owening McMahons ass instead.
