I would rather the girls I date or the girl I end up with to be a vanilla. A tentative lee and on some rare occasions a ler. That may sound strange but it's the way I feel. Part of why I like tickling is the secret rush I get from finding out if certain girls are ticklish. Ouch, that would have sucked. I can definetly see where your coming from. Because I can just tell by looking around at girls in general and guess what their reactions would be to my fetishes a tickle/foot. And I would imagine they would be similar to the ones you got. I was lucky that I got to date a vanilla but she completely accepted my fetishes and was going to let me explore them with her. I can definitely sympathize. I prefer the women I date to be vanilla myself, mostly because I'm simply not capable and/or willing to entertain any fetishes but my own. Yeah all very true. I find a vanillas acceptance of my fetish to be part of the arousal. It is frustrating when you hear about people that like to be choked when they climax, people that like have weird objects shoved into their bodies and we are the weird ones for wanting to tickle someone or enjoy their feet?

Being vanilla for tickling only lasts a short time in a relationship and then either the vanilla half of the equation, embraces, enjoys or at least indulges the tickling half of the equation and the thrill of that first tickle encounter is past and the vanilla is either now into tickling or remains vanilla and may even move further away from any tickling. My experience has been if the relationship is only or even primarily based around tickling, the chances of it lasting long are challenging.

Well I would never base a relationship on tickling. I would see it more as like "role playing in the bedroom" which is why I would rather be with a vanilla because it's a time when normal people can indulge in their fantasies once every so often and it is accepted and consensual by both people involved. I didn't say it had anything to do with perceptions of what is or isn't "weird". Simply that I'm not into any of that stuff, and am not interested in doing it for a partner. I'd go so far as to say that if she was into anything really painful or degrading (IMHO) I'd lose a lot of respect for her, because nearly everyone I've ever met who enjoy that stuff have more issues than a magazine rack. Even the more "normal" people I know who are simply polyamorous have drama follow them around like stink on poo. It's simply not my scene.

Hell, even with tickling, I'm not into the dominance or bondage aspects of it. Well I guess saying other peoples fetishes are weird might not be the right word because it's all relative when it comes to things like this I guess. I think I would be willing to explore my partners fetishes as long as they aren't to degrading or disgusting and within reason.
