Tool and Maynard's new side project

So, Tool is playing SLC on my birthday! YAY.

But have you heard his new side project, Puscifer? Milla Jovovich (5th Element, Resident Evil) sings on a couple tracks - she has an incredible voice.

Check em out if you are looking for something new. It's very experimental - have no idea how to classify it. Each song is so different from the last that it defies any sort of definition.

i have definitely heard of them and while i'd love to make it up to slc for the show, its not in the cards for me, sadly 🙁 tell me all about the show though and have a great birthday!!!! tool rules!

Keep an eye out though, looks like Puscifer plays in Vegas.

Tool are fucking fantastic. I'd be interested to hear these songs with Milla Jovovich.

This reminds me of something I saw on youtube a couple of years ago with Maynard singing "Muhammed, my friend" with Tori Amos. Great performance.

I never really got into Tool, although my buddy played me some Puscifer and I thought this song was kinda cool:

I love Tool and A Perfect Circle, but I liked only one song off of V for Vagina.

Momma Sed was good. The rest... not so much...

Maynard should reunite A Perfect Circle.

Tool is currently on a sort of mini-tour this summer. not sure how many dates and/or venues they're playing and i've just recently read that Adam Jones has stated that Tool is working on new stuff. But since they average a new album about once every 4 years or so, it may be a while yet before we get anything super new. I'm sure that after this tour is over, Maynard may go back to working with APC, either touring and working on new stuff. But then again, I could be totally wrong.

There are two hip hop remixes w/ Blestenation (not sure if i spelled that right). Momma Sed and Queen B.

THAT was a surprise. Very nice surprise, but a surprise all the same. I've liked every song on V for Vagina. Some more than others, but they all have such an awesome groove.

As for APC - last I read Maynard said there would be no more APC albums. Maybe a song or two, but he was pretty much done with them.

Tool is working on a new album but it could be years before we see anything, lol. Maynard has his hands full with his vineyards.
