So what strange weather we be having here in the states this last week...the weather service has placed central Kentucky in number 9 torcon...which has never happened in March ever...and here where i live we might be experiencing a tornado this afternoon and tonight...

IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!

Last Summer a tornado ripped through the city I live in. It actually passed over the street that I live on, but thankfully it is one of the city bisecting streets and was on the other end of the city. Scary stuff!!

Where i live is surrounded by tall trees, since i live along a park...i won't know if a tornado has struck unless it drops down practically in my yard lol.

OH... YOU WILL KNOW... LOL. It is like Hell on Earth being unleashed. It was a heat wave 90s all week. Then nothing but dead still air. Then it will get dark. Then out of nowhere wind and hale. If you are outside it will sound like a massive vacuum cleaner going off somewhere. I was a few miles away from the action and it is weird... you just know its happening.

Yes i recall a time when we were under a tornado warning...it got black as night out and the city siren was going off...hubby wanted me to go to the basement, however i said i was more afraid of the sump pump than a tornado lol...i actually went outside at one time during the warning...it got terribly windy but no tornado actually touched down in our vicinity.

I hope you and all of your loved ones remain safe and sound. The weather is indeed bonkers these days.

Heard it's a "La Nina" year- that's why we're having all the crazy weather.

Wind/tornadoes worry me more than any other kind of weather- my place is surrounded by trees, any of which could render me homeless (or dead) if they crashed on my place just the wrong way. Hope you're safe.....

So many tornadoes touched down within a fifteen or twenty mile radius of each other...killing several in Kentucky...i live on the Ohio, Kentucky border in West Virginia...all evening long the emergency broadcast system interrupted the tv to tell of a tornado sited on the ground...and hail stones the size of tennis balls...

Fortunately for me, the storms skirted Huntington for the most part...other places weren't so fortunate.

We had several tornadoes around here last year, and then the Virginia earthquake.:scared

Here in michigan we had an EF-3 touch down in the town of Dexter, about 15 miles from my house, ive still got a cup full of 1 inch hail in the freezer. it was 85 degrees that day, on march 15th....crazy stuff!

Geez. When they say "beware the Ides," they're not kidding.

Hey Izzy, Check this out! My wifes old high school in Oklahoma where we use to live, got hit by lightning and caught the office and three classrooms on fire; AND while that was going on they had another earthquake, magnitude 3.7, at the same time. We were use to tornadoes and hail when we lived there. Glad we are in the ozarks now. our old house value probably has gone down to zero with all the earthquakes they are having over there. At least here we know about the New Madrid fault line, I never knew Oklahoma had a fault line under it, and I lived there over 30 years in total. Global Warming? Nah, just april and may in Oklahoma! LOL.

We'll see Hootus. We'll see.

On a side note, ENJOY YOUR TUNA FISH WHILE IT LASTS! 3 YEARS, 2 MONTHS, AND 1 WEEK TILL THE EXTINCTION OF THE TUNA! Let the countdown being!

I have seen some of this severe weather on tv and my heart goes out to the people concerned who have lost homes and loved ones.
The weather over europe is very odd at times, once we did have a mild earth tremor and i must admit it was frightening.

Tuna, Rox? Really? BARF! Lol. Now if they run out of Spaghetti and meatballs, I'm in trouble! Hahaha.🙂

I'll say the weather's gone mad.

Parts of the Eastern coast of Australia found itself under flood warnings... in the middle of Summer. During which we're usually in drought.
Hey, our Dams are full though.
