19 firefighters are dead, giving their lives in service to others. Honor them, and keep their family and friends in your thoughts or prayers.

They were all so young, ranging in age (I believe) from 20 to 27...In so many ways, life was just beginning for them...

Can you imagine how the lone survivor of the unit must feel? He must be overwhelmed with survivors guilt. One hopes he can, at some point, get past that.

I heard about this tradegy on Jim Gardner's 6pm newscast last night. I feel devastated, and sick, for both the lives of the lost brave firefighters, the survivor, and their familes. This is one of the worst tradegies I've ever seen,. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
