Tribute to an indie comics icon (M hand/F)

This one's been sitting on the shelf forever... Figured I'd best get it done. 🙂 It should be easy, but props to the first person who can tell me the name of the artist this work is looking to pay homage to!

Right on, Wolf! 🙂 It's my take on Robert Crumb's oft-imitated "Keep On Truckin'" work...

The hatching/cross-hatching was done as I remember Crumb's work looked to me when I first saw it years ago -- I never much cared for his hatching/cross-hatching style -- a lot of it looked... ...rough and "scary-hairy" to me... But maybe that was just some of his early stuff. I've seen some really beautiful stuff he's done in the last 15 years or so... And the girl's not quite up to Crumb specifications -- he likes his a bit more robust -- but I liked the curves I first laid down for this one and didn't want to change them...

I may eventually colorize this one to my liking, but that's a while down the road. Til then, enjoy!
