And so it begins....

Cincinnati Bengals WR Terrell Owens voiced frustration with the team's offense after the first three weeks of the season, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer's Joe Reedy. "Obviously, I think with the expectations of what we have in this locker room, especially with the addition of myself, and with Chad doing some great things here for this organization, with all the hoopla and expectations and the Batman and Robin stuff, the capabilities of what we have, obviously it is disappointing. We're constantly kicking field goals and things of that nature. We're not moving the ball up and down as we expected, but a win is a win, and that's the most important thing at the end of the day," Owens said. "I've been open on a number of routes, and for whatever reason, there's always been some kind of breakdown with protection, or Carson has to come out of the pocket, or he's rushed. It's one of those things where it's frustrating for myself, but I've got to keep plugging away. I'm not going to gripe. The most important thing as I've alluded to here is we're winning. If we were losing, then I would definitely have a lot to say, but the most important thing is the W."

Put a spin on it as you like, but this is how it always starts with TO. By week 6, Cincinnati is going to start wishing they'd never heard of Terrel Owens. Thoughts?

He's an ass and we never should have signed him. Remember, he was second choice when we were choosing WR's. No offense, but with or without him, this is how the Bengals always play. He can go admire his own reflection while kissing my ass on his way out the door (please, let Dallas or some other poor team decide they want him and his ego!).

Well, at this point, I think the Panthers would love to have him. We're in such bad need of more WR talent, that we'd still be better with all the drama connected to him.

You know, Owens is not the problem. Ochocinco is not the problem. Carson Palmer is SUCKING big time right now. He has two good receivers, a running game, and a good TE, but he is just not playing well. Once he gets rolling, the Bengal offense will be fine.

I know a couple of teams that don't want anything to do with that guy, he is a team recker not a team builder. TO needs to go to Oakland where you don't need to check your ego at the door (but that maybe why they took the word playoffs out of the dictionary there). Let him slip away from football and let him do his TV show on VH1 heck no one watches that anyways.

Don't get me wrong, T.O. is a nuisance. But you can't blame him for EVERYTHING. Yes, it was his fault for the troubles in San Francisco and ESPECIALLY Philly. In Dallas, you never really heard anything outlandish that he did. In Buffalo, what did he do? He was on a bad team, and you didn't hear anything crazy...

Owens is now on a team with really good talent. Place the blame where it belongs. Point blank, Carson Palmer is NOT getting the job done. If Owens wasn't in Cincinnati, Carson Palmer would still be screwing up.

People, you can't blame Owens for everything. He is not the reason why the Bengal offense is sputtering. Palmer needs to perform better...

I agree, Palmer isn't playing up to par. I just was disappointed when the Bengals signed TO. Because otherwise we can enjoy quiet oblivion for a bad season - not so with TO's love of publicity and seeing himself in the news.

Terrell Owens just went for ten catches and 222 yards receiving, he just passed Issac Bruce for yards and receptions today.

This of course after his last year in Dallas he went for 212 and a couple of touchdowns, then the next year went for a touchdown and 196.

So much for him being washed up and on the decline.

Yeah, he's not done yet. Funny, but the Bengals are still in trouble despite the offensive performance. They just lost to the Cleveland Browns, after all.

Excuse me!!

I see someone's got jokes!

I beg your pardon, but the Browns aren't nearly as bad as you're implying.

The only problem they've been having is being a 4-quarter team. Fix that problem and their record WILL improve. Do I see them going to the superbowl this year? Certainly not! But I do see them getting better over time this year. They've fixed some of the front office drama, got some decent draft pics, paid Joshua Cribbs his money, and Seneca Wallace is the lead quarterback, not Delome (or however he spells his name). I'm still not sold on Mangini being coach, but it's a wait and see type of thing. He's either the next Belechick or he's going to be run outta' town on a rail-no inbetweens where he's concerned.

As for TO being washed up, he didn't look too washed up when he gave our defense the business yesterday. My question is, where the hell was Mr Ochocinco? He proved to be a non-factor yesterday. If I didn't hear the announcer mention his name, I would've thought he wasn't even there. Maybe he and TO should slow down on the reality TV gigs.

Kis, I have to agree that the Browns aren't exactly a pushover anymore. They very nearly pulled out a win against the Ravens last week. They've looked much more competitive than in recent years. And I think you've found a RB in Peyton Hillis. That guy is a beast.

I have a lot of jokes...

My uncle was a strict vegetarian back in the day, but he was still respected by the community; at his funeral there was a big 'turnup.' (Get it? Turnip?)

But I digress...

The Browns may have improved over last year, but they are still ranked in the 20's in numerous defensive and offensive categories, rushing offense and defense being the main exceptions. And the Bengals are supposed to be a better team.

I meant no offense to you as a fan, but I don't think that anyone expected the Bengals to accumulate 500 yards of offense against Cleveland and still manage to lose.

He has always been a cancer in the clubhouse and detracts from the overall team concept.

If your objective was to tell the worst joke I've ever heard, you have succeeded...........:evilha:

Uh.....ya' think??

I'm sure those stats improved as the defense ran the quarterback into the ground yesterday as well as my new best friend Peyton Hillis running all over their defense. We're down three games, but they were all close wins; I see major improvement. We'll see what happens as the season progresses; I don't see a superbowl run, not even a playoff run. I'd be thrilled for .500, any more than that I'll be running in the streets!:excited::excited:

No offense taken.

I'm just glad the losing streak got broken and Cinci is just as good of a team to do it with than any other. I don't think this has anything to do with TO or Ochocinco and they better find out what it is quick before they're fighting with us for the bottom.

I want him to marry my daughter and build an athletic dynasty together!

If he wasn't so young.......I'd get him for myself.

Ironically, my daughter attends school near the Browns training facility and has worked security at a couple of Browns games. Maybe....just maybe......oh what the hell, a girl can dream right??:jester:

The worst? I haven't even started on the knock knock jokes... :mwahaha:

I've taken a closer look at Cleveland today, and they're actually doing better than I expected. I still think 6-10 is likely, but they have potential.

Hey, you never know! 😀

And further, I think the Browns would be wise to start Seneca Wallace the rest of the season. His stats were pretty decent in Seattle and he probably gives them a better chance to win than any other QB on the roster.

I hate to say this (who am I kidding, I love to do this...) the Browns will finish last in the division again. Granted, they have improved. Peyton Hillis is a beast 9I'm glad I picked him up in my fantasy league), but the Bengals losing to the Browns yesterday was just one of those things. It happens. After all, the Bengals beat the Ravens who beat the Steelers. Things happen within that division.

The true test is when they play out of conference teams. The Browns still have to play the NFC South. We will see how much they have improved.

Then again, I guess I do hope the Browns do well. It gives the people of Cleveland something to cheer about since "Bitch" James bailed on them this past summer....

As for Mr. Ochocinco...there will be days like that. Remember his opening game? He had HUGE numbers. This week he didn't. Chad is still better than any Browns receiver.... :dancingbanana:

The only thing that matters to me and other Browns fans is regardless of stats, we beat them. We beat them with both TO and Ochocinco-like I said before, maybe they should concentrate more on football and less on the reality tv gigs.

Maybe we'll be last, maybe we won't. It remains to be seen and I believe that no matter what happens it will be an improvement over last year. I'll be the first to admit that they get on my nerves, but I'm still a Browns fan even when they don't deserve it.

As far as Mr James is concerned, he's been looking pretty stupid lately trying to pull the race card as an excuse for his defection from Cleveland. He left because he wanted to play basketball with his boys; he doesn't have the backbone to lead a team so he's where he belongs following Dwayne Wade. Good luck, happy landings, and by the way, STFU and suck it up! This is what happens when someone does crap and not count up the costs and consequences of their decision making.

Go Browns!

I think Seneca is a far better quarterback than Delome; I hope he recovers from his injury but he can take his time while Seneca does his thing. At 5'11" he's not the tallest quarterback in the NFL, but I think he has the skills and he can move.

Now if we can stay in it for all four quarters.......yeah, hope springs eternal. I'm an eternal optimist!😎
