Trying reflexology as a way to explore foot tickling in public

I've seen several clips where guys approach women in public and tickle their feet under the pretense of doing a reflexology experiment. I’ve been thinking about trying something similar myself, but I have a couple of concerns. First, I live in a mid-sized city in Italy (about 72,000 people), and the general vibe here is a bit conservative. I’m worried that even if I present it well, I might still come off as creepy. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

My advice is to not do it. The pretense is deceptive and feels wrong to me. I recognize that some tickling scenarios in which the ticklee is not completely aware of the context of the tickling and what it means to the tickler is more of a grey area than something that should never be done, but doing it in public, and under the guise of conducting professional activities unrelated to fetish, kink, or personal interest, feels immoral. This is even more true for those that record the tickles and post them online. If you think about it from the ticklees perspective, I hope you will see how it at least feels off in some way. It's a really fun concept in fantasy, but I think it should remain there.

I agree with WickedTouch. Do not do this. It’s unethical and if you film it, you’d could run into legal troubles.

Just find someone open to allowing you to play with their feet, book a session, etc. Don’t hold yourself out as something you’re not. I don’t know Italy, but I imagine there are play parties, Sessiongirls, or other avenues to explore that don’t require deception.

Super creepy. do not do this. i dont know of any woman that would allow a stranger to randomly touch their feet.

If reflexology study is not the true motive, do not do this.

I would be very interested for a large scale study ( 30,000+ participants) gauging:
  • The actual level of ticklishness a person has, based upon a cumulative review of all participants actual reaction to various forms/level of touch (different objects and pressure level), compared to their initial personal view (not ticklish, slightly, medium, very, extremely, etc.) and post tickling personal view.
  • Whether this response level changes with machine application, application by unfamiliar person, or application by familiar person, or by expectation ( seen vs unseen )
  • The reaction had based upon varying lengths of time continuously tickled
  • Reaction based on temperature differntial - Warmed vs room temperature
  • The participants overall view/feeling on the actual sensation during/after varying lengths of time.
  • Frequency they are tickled in ordinary life
  • Categorized by age and sex
  • Hormone / vitamin level would be another interesting component
Sadly unlikely due to time and cost for such a study.

There are several existing studies of various types but they are less than 100 people and not to the same.
In researching the existence of these study it brings up the tickling "fetishism" community poll, that has a larger number of respondents that the studies, but it relates it to arousal (again, pigeon holing the community), rather than general like of tickling... and because the poll is within the community itself it says it is biased.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. I can honestly say that after reflecting on it more — I completely understand why using reflexology as a way to tickle women’s feet isn’t the most ethical approach. Even before posting, I had a gut feeling that it wasn’t quite right, and truthfully, I think I’d feel pretty awkward and uncomfortable trying something like that in real life.

You are very welcome. Yeah, I read into it a bit that you probably had at least an inkling that something wasn't right. I really respect your self reflection on it and your willingness to seek others' perspectives before just acting on the impulse. Immorality is generally found in acting on thoughts, rather than in the thoughts themselves.

Looking past this whole public/reflexology thing, I'm sure with time, persistence, and authenticity, you'll find people willing to play with you. Even if they aren't into it in the same way, people can be curious, especially if you are willing to entertain some of their interests as well. I wish you the best of luck! 🙂

Please don't do this. For all the reasons many have said, but it also makes the community look really bad. We already have a perception of being creeps and weirdos, specifically the men. Stuff like that is just confirms what everyone already thinks about us. I understand that it isn't easy to find play partners or significant others that want to engage in tickle play with you, especially not for free; however, if you really think about it, when people deceive women to gain access to their bodies to feed their fetish and other people's fetishes, that's no small part of why we are viewed the way that we are.

I've seen several clips where guys

guy. singular.

far as I know there was only ever one dude who tried this, or at least every video people point to that I've seen came from this same dude. (Hopefully I'm not wrong about that, and there's a cadre of fake reflexologists running around out there.) He's been pretty notorious in our circles for a long-ass time.

He's also actually gotten in trouble with the law and been banned from numerous public places over his nonsense, so no. Not a good idea. I see you've already changed your mind, so good on you for that. Just sayin' for the benefit of anyone else who gets the bright idea.

I’ve seen those videos I like them and honestly I wouldn’t try it. I haven’t been very lucky tickling women I know so it would be nearly impossible for me to try it on someone I don’t know
