Trying to find some videos

I know this is so WAy off topic, but.....

I was wondering if anyone had VHS videos of either:

A). End-of-the-year type programs, newscasts and wrap-ups, showing the highlights & lowlights of the past year in politics, sports, entertainment, etc.....

and/or

B.) past Academy Award shows.

I like that kind of stuff.

I have some music award shows, but they'reedited to only the groups that I like, as for past news, I have some news from 9/11, but its choppy due to me going between stations (for who had the better pics at the time).

Limeousider, I don't really need any music award shows, since we have a lot of those where I work, and I also have A LOT of the 9/11 stuff (being in video production and doing a lot of video work for NYC clients has its advanteges. Sitting 4 hours in tiny airplanes seats ain't one of them, though...). But the though and effort is quite appreciated! BTW - who do you have on your tapes? (you can e-mail me in case you don't want to say here: [email protected] Some people are VERY opinionated about what they find entertaining and what they don't, and they don't hold back those opinions....)

TicklingDuo, I haven't seen a Marck Russell show in so long! Is he still doing them? I might be interested in seeing them although don't knock yourself out finding them. But thanks for the offer, once again. What years do you have on tape?

Why do you ask, Oddjob? Are these videos for research, or for your personal viewing pleasure? And speaking of tapes, I haven't heard anything about that tickling scene in the Indian music video. Are you still having trouble making it into a clip? Forgive my curiosity. 😀

I have this years awards show, and a few from past years... I just like wacthing them. What a nerd!

As far as the Indian music video, I don't have what I need to make a clip & put it on the computer. I could make a copy & send it to someone who does, though. In fact, Simonhb7 and I are talking, and he'sgoing to send me some great Indian stuff he's found, so he might be the guy to send my tape to. I'll wait & see how this goes.
