After some persistant at the hands of some of our most esteemed female members (but mostly because I finally got the film developed 😛 ) and that nagging feeling alot of people have expressed in not knowing what the infamous Damien looks like, finally here is moi.

This picture was taken after Christmas I believe. We still had our Christmas tree at that time, which you can see in the background, as well as a picture of the Holy Spirit pouring down radiance (which is always up along with the Jesus picture in the center and an identical Holy Spirit picture to the left of him.)

Note that while I've said I had long hair, this was taken after I had it shortened. Its still long though, it goes down to my shoulders and with the style I have I can comb it different ways and still tie it back in a pony tail if I want to. Yay for versatile hair! :happy:

Now some folks are starting to tell me my hair looks like Anakin Skywalker's in Episode III! LOL!

What is it with me and movie characters? First some folks said I looked like Dracula from Van Helsing when I had my hair long and did certain facial expressions, and now I'm looking like Darth Vader?! LOL!

Whose next? Dantius Palpatine?! I should hope not...he's cool and totally rightious in a darkside way, but no thank you! ^^!

Why blonde hair? Dracula has dark brown hair and I have dark brown hair, though for some reason it looks black when pictures are taken.

Also, just out of curiousity, why are you being nice to me all of a sudden? The way you talk to me in private is not at all the way you talk to me in public. I'm not sure whether that was a bad day for you, or you simply don't like me but want to play like you do in public. No offense of course, but because of things that have happened, I don't know how you feel or how to respond to you sometimes because I don't know whether its going to be an insult or a word of gratitude, like now.

You leave, to me, your personality and existance here to be one of a conflicting nature, and I want something more definite and sure before I continue with you.

just bad days..I sent ya an apology over the one that i snapped back at ya over the troll thing..Just a bad day..but..things are cool now. My fault bro. You know, the past is the past, I think We all need to just let it go. We started off bad, but the more i read your stuff..you, kal, ar, ness, mv..so on and so for..just make valid points. I respect ya all. I love to read what you have to say. all of you. I just have had some bad days and when triggered on my bad days..I just happened to snap. Honestly..im not a bad person, not that a lot of people percieve me as. I just have a temper at times. Im workin on controlling that. Sorry to all who have felt this way towards me. I may not seem to care much at times..but id like to make as many friends as possible in this lifetime. Hell, Ive found the love of my life, I workin on keepin everything cool in my life, so I can spend a long time with her. Ive made a lot of friends..but being too nice has always led me to trouble later on..especially having friends turn on me. I Know I can be an asshole at times..but honestly..Im workin on being much nicer. So Vlad, I do apologize for what I said that day in the PM to you. I came in from a bad day..fed the troll and got more pissed off. Ive learned now to just let it go and I wont take it out on the innocent. Hopefully, things will be much smoother in this place with all of us. Maybe we all can get this site revamped and make it fun, like it used to be. 🙂

As for the avatar, I just now realized you thought he had blonde hair because of the flash of lightning taking place in the avatar which bathed him in white. It was exactly that, a flash of lightning. Its not something I added either, since each frame was directly from the movie opening, which was in black and white before it switched to color for the rest of the movie.

Just a reminder...this thread's whole purpose was to share photos without a lot of conversation so that people could view photos without wading through a ton of posts as in the previous photo thread (what does a tickle luver look like). 😛

I know that, but I didn't see a mod doing anything about it before. So why the change of heart and enforcement of policy over a few posts? There was a time when I was going to PM a mod over how ridiculous it was getting, so I agree with you.

Wasn't there a thread just for the discussions? Why didn't anyone ever start posting/continuing in that one?

Well, I wish everyone would abide by the suggestion, if only for the sake of less clutter. Could you make another sticky thread for it if the last was lost? I think it would help things. Although because the pictures are not there, it may be a problem, since I doubt everyone is going to want to go back and forth through both stickeys to comment on a particular picture. But it would mean less wading around here for users that just want to get to the pictures. Thats whats important here, afterall.

As for me, how did you figure I'd look like that? Also, my hair has a slight wave to it. Its not curly. Its more straight than anything, but it does have a slight wave to it. Naturally I have alot of volume to my hair. Its not limp. I could straighten it completely, but I'd lose that volume.

I prefer the wave to my hair though. This picture may not be a perfect example of what my hair looks like most of the time. Its usually more sleak than this. But I like the way it looked in this picture. Its probably because of the way I combed it that day. Gotta love hair you can work with. ^^

There really IS no good way to structure it, unfortunately. Ironic that we clutter the thread with talk about not cluttering the thread! lol
Anyway...I have mental images of most people. It's weird but it's not always a person. If someone had a chicken in their avatar I'd probably picture a chicken. Having a visual brain is interesting sometimes lol. But you've mentioned bits of your appearance enough times for me to formulate something acurateish. Oddly, you look like my brother!

The picture is about two years old, and it's not very good but it'll do for now. 😛 I'll have to post another one when I get my hands on a digital camera. My hair is much longer now but aside from that I guess I don't look all that different.
