Turning 'lers into 'lees?

Hi folks,

just wanted to check your opinions and / or experiences:

Is it possible to change a defenitely dominant 'ler into a gibbering and pleading 'lee just by pure strength of will and persistence?

For my part, I defenitely think it is. A certain example just lingers in my mind .


So, tell me people out there.

Easily. I'm sure many people out there started out as 'lers and eventually became 'lees too. I know I started out as a 'ler but now I have come to like both.😀

Yea that's the same it was with me, I've always loved tickling but one day I let one of my friend's tie and tickle me and I've been wanting more ever since.

Back in my youth............

I remember when I was under 18 years old that I was strictly a tickler. In fact, being tickled, even by my girlfriend really pissed me off! I had ZERO interest in being tickled. The idea of it turned me off.

Then one night when I was 18, I was at a friends apartment, sitting between two female friends of mine when they both started tickling me. It wasn't a vicious tickle torture, just a friendly tickling. Just when I was out of breath, they would let up for a few seconds and then have at me again. This went on for maybe five minutes. After they finally stopped, I felt a very warm and fuzzy feeling all over. Very nice! 🙂

I think the fact that I knew that these women were not trying to hurt me made it a positive experience instead of a negative one. It was ticking out of love not spite.

After that whenever I was around them I would make sure they had plenty of opportunities to tickle me. Unfortunately they weren't ticklish. ( oh well! )

I still think of myself as 80% tickler - 20% ticklee, but it so much depends on who I'm with, the environment we are in and the mood I'm in.

I'm very thankful I had that experience with my two friends, even though they never knew what effect it had on me! I'm glad I can enjoy both sides of the feather!

I think given the right circumstances, a die hard 'ler can be persuaded into testing out their latent 'lee tendencies (like Tiklebelly illustrated quite nicely). As long as the 'ler realizes that there is no malice involved, then there shouldn't be any reason to at least drop their guard long enough to try things out from another perspective. Obviously, there are exceptions to every rule, but in general I think that most people are open to experimentation.
I'm totally open to trying both sides of the tickling equation. The phrase "I'll try anything once" has lead to more than one eye opening experience for me. Never know unless you try, right? 😉

Are there any 'lers out there that tried to be a 'lee and hated it? Just curious.....

man, you just hate it that someone exists who blows a hole in your little theories, don'tcha. 😉

but no, that wasn't the case. it's not in my personality to "submit", whether it be to tickling, admitting I'm wrong, or letting a stubborn programming bug go un-fixed. I guess you could say I'm a dominant personality that never likes to give in.

I'd be a fool if I didn't think that every theory had a hole or two (lol). I think that's the beauty of our little corner of the world though, everyone here, although all linked by kink, are all completely different and multifaceted.

I think that we are very similar creatures, Phineas...even if on opposite sides of the coin. I can be extremly stubborn by nature, especially if someone challenges me or presents me with a problem they think I can't handle. But while I love to rise to a challenge, I also LOVE to be made to give in. Guess that's what separates the 'lers and the 'lees 😀

Although I liked being tickled, I was primarily a 'ler, until I started dating this girl in college, who wasn't ticklish anywhere! Ribs, stomach, feet, knees, armpits - nothing. But she took full advantage of my being ticklish, and she really liked that I couldn't get her back. I learned that being a 'lee can be a lot of fun.
