Frank and Louie the cat was born with two faces, two mouths, two noses, three eyes — and lots of doubts about his future.

Now, 12 years after Marty Stevens rescued him from being euthanized because of his condition, the exotic blue-eyed rag doll cat is not only thriving, but has also made it into the 2012 edition of Guinness World Records as the longest-surviving member of a group known as Janus cats, named for a Roman god with two faces.

I know plenty of one-faced organisms who suck at life more than that cat.

Haven't you ever heard of animals that are born with double faces 🙂? There is a children's museum in a nearby city where I live and they have a two faced lamb that lives there! I also saw a two faced sheep once when I was a kid at a petting zoo.

i saw this yesterday. i wondered if the cat had two brains or if it was a single brained cat with extra facial features. if it had two brains i wonder how it makes decisions overall.

I saw this the other day and I believe they said the cat was twelve years old.
