Gabriel Gonzaga defeats Brendan Schaub- KO

Court Mcgee defeats Ryan Jensen- decision

Patrick Cote defeats Tom Lawler- TKO

Cain Velasquez defeats Brock Lesnar- tko 4th round

Brock won't lose, he'll beat Velasquez, then he'll go home, have a beer, and mount his sexy cougar wife. Cause that's what Brock Lesnar wants to do.

Lesnar def. Velasquez no later than the end of the second round. Lesnar's going to have about 40 lbs on Velasquez, a speed advantage and superior wrestling. The only way Velaquez wins is standing up with a KO. Beyond that, Lesnar will score a takedown and either submit Cain or punish him until the ref calls it off.

I also have Schaub and Thiago winning by decisions, but everything else I agree with.

i wouldnt say brock has superior wrestling, size/power advantage yes but cain is a damn good wrestler and has shown he can take punishment in the past, so with his huge advantage in cardio i see it going into the later rounds and letting brock gas and then mounting him and getting the tko. i could be totally wrong but thats my guess

I'm not discounting Cain's wreslting ability. He's phenomenal. Problem is, so's Lesnar, and the past has shown us that if it comes down to wrestling, the bigger, stronger guys' going to win. While I don't doubt Cain's chin, he's also never been up against a guy who can do the kind of damage Lesnar can do from top position. I'd also say they're about even for cardio.

You may well be right, but if I had to put money down, I'd say Lesnar.

I'm not discounting Cain's wreslting ability. He's phenomenal. Problem is, so's Lesnar, and the past has shown us that if it comes down to wrestling, the bigger, stronger guys' going to win. While I don't doubt Cain's chin, he's also never been up against a guy who can do the kind of damage Lesnar can do from top position.

good points, i still see cain winning.. maybe its just hopeful thinking because if cain can't beat him i dont think there is anyone on the roster that can, and i cant stand lesnar. I mean JDS is next in line for a shot and lets be honest he wouldnt stand a chance againist lesnar and its not like he beat a stud (roy nelson) to get the shot

I want my $45 back. Worst UFC ever. I liked the Kampman fight and thought he could have won if he would have stood up halfway in the third instead of playing around on the ground going for chokes. Shields was totally out of it.

Gonzaga. 😛 Seriously though, while Schaub hasn't beaten anyone truly of note, Gonzaga's only big win was that lightening-in-a-bottle win over CroCop. He is covered in 'meh'.

I want my $45 back. Worst UFC ever. I liked the Kampman fight and thought he could have won if he would have stood up halfway in the third instead of playing around on the ground going for chokes. Shields was totally out of it.

That fight was Kampmann's to lose by the 3rd and he blew it. Oh well. That being said, Shields has shown he deserves to be in the UFC, but barely. Gassing like that against the elite competition (GSP, Fitch, Alves, Koscheck) means a loss. Don't expect a lot from him.

As for getting your money back, that's combat sports. Sometimes, $45 gets you fight of the year. Sometimes it gets you a 15 second KO. Or worse, Anderson Silva vs. Damien Maia (or Thales Leites). You pays your money, you takes your chances.

It seems like most of you were probably surprized when Brock got his but beat and tkoed in the first round... not that I care, I don't like UFC.... 😛

Sanchez topped Thiago, plain and simple. I've been wrong before. 🙂

Velasquez outmatched Lesnar in the striking game, much as Carwin did before gassing. I gotta admit though, when Lesnar got Cain down and got on top of him, I thought the fight was over.

As for Schaub/Gonzaga, Schaub may not have the credentials that Gonzaga has, but he may well get there soon. Gonzaga's best fights seem to be behind him though, which is a pity. At the end of the day, I don't think either will ever be champ.

Nearly every fight went to a decision and almost every bout was an even matched bout. How is that entertaining

Also No way would White allow his new acquisition(Shields) to lose, one of those judges actually gave him all 3 rounds
