Well ok, but I don't understand, why you create a video and 1 month or more later, the video is still in your hard drive, and still not know when it will be out... I mean...I though that when you shoot a video , it takes some 3-4 days and put it out... really don't understand all this "coming soon" things...

Just because you've seen caps doesn't mean the video is edited and ready to go. I'm sorry that you really want to see the clip but there are other people out there are probably waiting for the next clip of their favourite too. I'm sure you don't want to come across as ungrateful to one of the most prolific producers around but you are in danger of it. I know that tb has to work hard to keep the clips rolling out and maintaining the quality levels that are his trademark. Hurling abuse at him does not seem like a particularly good way to endear yourself to him.

I just thought you were very I'll informed and rude. Still I did acknowledge that you had removed the abusive elements after a period of calm reflection. However having read your response I was correct in thinking you were rude. I hope after a further period of reflection you will edit your response to me too. There really is no need for it is there old chap?

No it doesn't necessarily take 3 or 4 days...I actually have about 15 hard drives with content going back more than 3 years - some of which I still intend to add to the site, but haven't found the right opportunity yet. For example, the recent clip with Elena that I added to the site a couple of weeks ago was shot over 2 years ago! 🙂

I film new clips every week but that doesn't mean they will be added the following week. Many of the scenes that I film don't get released at all if I feel they're not up to scratch! Even when I do release all of the clips from a shoot, I won't release them all in the same week as they may not sell. In order to remain in business, and manage my costs I have to be able to see a return from the material I put out in my store and on the website (as do all producers). This means I have to plan releases that I think people are going to want to buy, and not all of the clips will sell. There are other factors that influence when I release clips, including the need to maintain a mix of content on both the members site and in the store...it is a careful balance and I'm afraid that I can't necessarily release a clip straight away because one person really wants to see it.

I try to post preview pics for as many of the latest scenes in here as I can. This is so that people can see what is being filmed and get an idea of what is coming up. I don't always have the time to work with footage straight away (and I can't always for the reasons given) but I like to let people see it anyway if I can - I've actually done several shoots in the last few weeks that I haven't posted a single image from as yet!!

Normally I'd sit back and listen to the producer's responses to things, because they're the master doing the work, but I would humbly add some support to Turtleboy
for his many fans and some critics, since I'm an amateur videographer myself......editing video takes a long ass time.

I'm working on a video now...that I shot 3 years ago. I just did it for me, but never got around to editing it. Damn, it's boring.
I hate editing. I'm more exhausted after editing than exercising, I shit you not. I'd rather take a walk than edit.
Maybe I have ADD, but it can get mind numbingly boring....even though editing is where any video comes together.

Hollywood movies are nowadays edited right after the footage is shot - they start editing the movie while the movie is being filmed.
.....and it STILL takes MONTHS to finish it. With multiple editors, sometimes whole teams.

My favorite model is Yulia Nova. She only has one photographer/videographer. He shot her stuff......10 YEARS AGO. He still has hundreds of hours he hasn't released yet.
(So he says.)

Patience. Everything Turtleboy releases is excellent, so it's all worth the wait, in my humble opinion.

Yes, this "person" is me...I got it, but I ddin't rush you to release the video in the very first moment when I saw the preview pics.... Yesterday I started to asking you because I saw that pics 3 weeks ago or more, and still not available .... for example you release the newest video with Billie (suspended and tickled) and this video is made after the one I am talking about...
Look, I respect you very much... If you have read the Personal messages that I was sending to you (which you didn't answer me untill I ask you in the forum of course) you will know how much I respect, love and enjoy your work...
If I didn't like your stuff I was not gonna ask you all the time...

I really love that little cutie Billie Judd, so I was impatient to see the videos you know... I really like TMF, and turtleboy, I love and enjoy his work and videos since years....but in the last 1-2 years his company become my favourite....

This is the point I was making - most of my clips don't get released in the order they are filmed or previewed as there are lots of things that affect when I decide to release a clip in the store or on the site.

In this case, I have actually released them in the order they were shot, as the 'suspended' clip was filmed before the scene you are talking about - I actually shot it with her before Christmas, and the scene you are asking me about was shot only a few weeks ago.

And my final question is will you try to release that video with Billie in the next...2 weeks for example?

I don't know exactly when but it probably won't be in the next two weeks I'm afraid as I have some other clips planned in for the site. It won't be a long time in any case!

Thanks mabus. Actually, the editing itself I don't mind. For me, it's grabbing all the still frames to post previews at the same time that really takes the time, along with selecting and marking bits out for preview clips, actually listing the clips, typing the descriptions and making the animated gifs as well. That's why I don't always get around to making and/or posting preview clips at all sometimes! 🙂

Sometimes it's frustrating for me as I just want to get the clips shot and released - especially when I do a scene that I think is really special. If I did this full-time it wouldn't matter too much and I could pump the new clips out more efficiently. At the minute though, I'm stretched to capacity just trying to keep things updated each week!

I'm glad you feel the clips are worth waiting for anyway!

It is pleasure for me to have a word with the people who produce videos....in this case my favourite one with Turtleboy....
I really can't wait to see the video, and I was very impatient....and I was like rushing you Dave.... but now I do realise that shooting long videos, editing them and releasing them is a lot work to do....specially when you have other things to do and personal life....
As I said it many times, Dave you are my favourite producer, so excuse my words of impatience ... I will wait patiently for the new video with Billie, while enjoying your newest stuff... (Monica, Holly, the other new girls, Ruby, Zoe and etc 🙂 )

I have no issues with you. I was just annoyed with your initial posts (there were three in a row) the last of which I perceived to be almost abusive although mocking is probably a better assessment. You have mentioned all the reasons I took issue with so we have nothing to disagree about. Apologies for any ill-feeling. I'm sure tb appreciates that you are a big fan albeit a little over enthusiastic though I have to agree that Billie is fantastic. Let's just move on.

p.s. The last thing tb needs is my help in producing a video! Besides, he lives around five miles away from me so the distance could prove prohibitive 😉

Erm... It is great for a curry and it has a fine brewery but I think amazing is stretching things! Still, they did find the body of King Richard the Third burried under a carpark last month which is nice.
