Unable to post using AOL

Hi Ven..........

I am using version 5 but have been unable to post for the last 4 days using AOL. If I go on using "Virgin" as i am now, no problem. I can access the site on AOL but posting is not possible. Any ideas?

Have had no problems with version 6 or 7. A while back Myriads had posted that several users of aol were having problems with posts...

Beats me Red...unless you want to try an upgrade to version 6

All I know is that my 6.0 was not very compatible with my new windows XP ..kept getting corrupted until we upgraded to the 7.0 version and have had no problems since.....

Some AOL users have reported a posting problem while using AOL. As far as I was able to find out, the update that they had gotten was forcing cookies to either be deleted as fast as they were served, or not at all. First thing to do is check the prefs, and see what the cookie policy is set for.

I had the same problem a few weeks back. Don't use a link or favorite place. Type the URL in fresh in another search engine besides AOL. It's annoying, but it's the price you'll have to pay.
You also may want to clear your cache.

Thanks for that wall, but.........

No joy with that either, I only get the site to work if i go in using a different server, when you say "empty the cache" do you mean clearing the history in aol? I have mine set on auto clear after each log on.
