Underarms: bare or clothed?

I feel like they can be tickled successfully either way, it really just depends on your technique. I would argue for clothed because then the 'ler can get in there, poke around and dig their fingers in. On bare skin, that type of aggressive technique might be less effective and even painful, but I can only assume since I've never experienced that.

However, bare always seems to work well, especially for light spidering and scratching. It's all just a matter of style.

The way you describe bare tickling it seems more sensual because it can involve tools, while clothed is more playful and casual. So I guess it's also a matter of mood and feelings toward each other.

This is like asking me whether I prefer socked or bare feet, and I'll on the most part say bare. With this, I am not really into underarm tickling, but I saw some in an advert for deodorant the other day and thought how sexy her smooth underarm was. I'd definitely say bare.

I also like the tactile sense on my fingers--the heat, sometimes moisture, the smoothness or stubble...
As for stubble, I didn't have a problem with that when I tickled girls who had it; once I played "connect the dots".
I only tickled one girl who had hair; it was winter and she hadn't shaved in a bit. I didn't mind it, though I do prefer shaved.

Socks have their perks sometimes. Depending on the material, they can increase sensitivity and also heat up the skin for some intense bare play.
