Since this was brought up, I thought I'd ask..

If you were a WWE writer how would you write the Taker's last match?

Let him face john cena at wrestlemania for the title (imagine the heat on cena)..

bill the undertaker as losing his "powers" staring right before the rumble. Let john cena eliminate him from the rumble (wether cena is in it or not) have them bantar back and forth and cena get the best of him again and again due to the loss of the powers.

Have the match at WM this year. Let cena beat down taker throught the first part of the match, have taker mount somewhat of a comeback and then right back to cena beating him down. Let cena hit the AA and stand over the undertake doing the throat slash gester (saying he will end the streak with taker's own move).. but then the lights go out

Have one spotlight turn back on and aim it at the top of the ramp where paul bearer will be standing holding the urn, as to give the undertaker the strength to gut it out one more time. Have taker do the signature situp, grab cena around the throat and deliver a chokeslam. Do the throat slash and give him the tombstone to win the title..but its not over

the money in the bank winner from earlier in the night...Kane's music hits. (his old music) he is dressed in the old costume mask and all. As he walks down the ramp fire shoots from the ramp and ring posts.. He gets in the ring cashing in his mitb and dominates taker with a few moves ending in a chokeslam and tombstone. Kane wins the title and the druids bring down a casket. Kane shoves the undertaker in it and wheels it up the ramp. Lights it on fire and tells the undertaker to REST IN PEACE and he is never seen again

It would be cool if it were against Kane, but he jobs so damn much that the match would be embarrassingly predictable.

I'm not sure how I would write this one out...I do like the previous idea with cena and kane..kudos to that...but no matter how you look at it...once Taker leaves we wont have much to watch at all when it comes to WWE..its already gone down hill so much..it's sad really.

I envision a casket match ( surprise there ) maybe to include Paul Bearer with the infamous urn that paul carries around to face Hulk Hogan if he is able to have the match icon VS icon and the loser is placed in the casket to close out his career forever

Undertaker's last match
The guy is a legend and not withstanding injury he WILL finish he's last match at a future Wrestlemania (or else Survivor Series). Taker gets a win of course - retires undefeated back to death valley. He's opponent would be either an up and coming star - think handicap (or tag with Kane) against legacy or against CM Punk or an up-and-coming Bryan Danielson or Nigel McGuinness. Otherwise give Taker a man he has never versed one-on-one Chris Jericho! Taker vs Y2J at mania would be classic

Otherwise give Taker a man he has never versed one-on-one Chris Jericho! Taker vs Y2J at mania would be classic

they will be lucky to see ring time and when/if they do get a match at WM danielson would be in the MITB no question. He wont win but he will be in it but they are 2-3 years away from even being used
