University Study on the effects of Tickling

Naomi and I came across this recent university study on tickling and it's effects (appears legit as far as I can tell) and thought some may find it interesting.
These all refer to the same study which was done by the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

Honestly, if you read it through the lens of an outsider wondering if a tickle fetish is "normal," this study is pretty monumental.

It’s a great study, though the results’ generalizability should be noted, as the sampling method elicited likely skewed results that don’t represent the general population’s views on tickling, i.e., few if any muggles were included here. The data were collected through an online survey that sought respondents from tickling communities like ours, and some of the influencers that they used to seek respondents were Japanese influencers, which is likely why the demographic breakdown on the sample is 74 percent male and 72 percent East Asian. The researchers acknowledged this and called for future studies that use more diverse sample demographically.
