Unsuspecting

I read quite a few stories on here about people who find ways to tickle unsuspecting folks out in the real world - pretending to think its a friend and then acting surprised when its not, or other such excuses - and quite a few more about people brainstorming new ways to do this. I never really expected to use any of these suggestions, first because I was too shy and now because I don't need to. And I DEFINITELY never expected to be on the other end!

But sure enough, as I'm riding home on the Greyhound a few weeks ago, curled up to sleep with my shoes off after a tiring weekend, I was abruptly startled awake by somebody running a finger quickly up and down my foot. I jumped up, and the person asked if this was my stop. I knew it wasn't (we hadn't crossed the border yet) so I said no, and they proceeded to get off the bus.


Just thought it was funny to have an "unsuspecting" tickle technique used on me, presumably by one of us. :lol: We really are everywhere!

Simply OUTSTANDING! Has this ever happened before. You should try an experiment one warm day. Try putting your feet out of a car window in a busy parking lot and see if any tickles emerge. Great story and by the way I hope you did bot feel offended by the whole thing.

Nope, never happened before at all! By and large I think these sorts of techniques are mostly practiced by male 'lers on unsuspecting females, and I am neither unsuspecting nor female. :lol: I can't say it's never crossed my mind before that it might happen, but I never REALLY thought it would. I'm on the bus a lot so this particular situation does arise regularly; other than sleeping on the bus, though, I'm not really in public amongst strangers and without shoes in an obviously vulnerable position, so it's difficult to replicate.

And no, definitely not offended! Obviously I like being tickled but beyond that I also empathize with people who can't really wind up tickling people, and I think this is a pretty harmless way to ameliorate that situation, and it was handled particularly well. Again though I'm biased, I LIKE tickling so it never seems harmful to me. "Normals" may disagree.
