Unticklish ?

I was talking to a friend today and she was telling me that she is not ticklish. We went into more details,who has tried? were have u been tickled etc etc but at the endo f it all she was still claiming that she was not ticklish full stop.

I have read stories on here and other sites in which people claim they arent but turn out to be,and have heard others claim that everyone is ticklish.....

I am myself,and most people i know are,can anyone help me out?

Oh, what a drag when you are trying to tickle a girl who just is not ticklish. I've known a couple. I wonder if I could have put up with dating an un-ticklish woman for long - women almost always left me first, so I have yet to find out.

Then there are the liars. I've known at least one - when I was a teenage I hung around with my cute female neighbor Patty. I forget how tickling came up - either I tried to tickle her and she resisted well or I merely mentioned tickling - and Patty said, "I'm not ticklish." Later I found out she lied, as she just did not want me to tickle her! You know I got her then!

So, to help you out, I encourage you to tickle first, question later. And don't count on feet. I've known MANY women who were ticklish elsewhere but not on their feet.

Some people aren't BF, most people are to one degree or another. You won't know for certain about her, unless you actually try and tickle her.

Sad but true...

My boyfriend isn't ticklish 🙁 I've tried EVERYTHING. The only thing I've noticed that works is if he's laughing already. Usually then I can get in about 2.5 seconds of tickling before he turns on me. (Which is okay because really that's what I'm going for usually anyway hehe)
So I guess if you get her giddy and silly and laughing already...THEN try to tickle her...ya never know...that's the ONLY time my boyfriend's ticklish. Worth a shot! 🙂

There are truly some people who arent ticklish. I've posted on here before that my ex girlfriend, Jenny, who I dated for nearly 3 years in the early 90's, just wasnt ticklish at all. I tried everything, in every possible spot on her body, but she just had no reaction and didnt laugh. There was only one time that she even displayed a slight bit of ticklishness. Once she was barefoot, I came up behind her, and tickled her foot, and she moved it like a real ticklish foot, claiming she felt it be ticklish a little. Other than that, no reaction, for three years, in any part of her body, no matter who tickled. I do believe there are some people in this world who just arent ticklish, no matter how hard you try. I will say though that the number is probably not many, and very rare. Most people I know, male or female, including myself, are ticklish to at least some degree, and in some cases, as many know, are very to extremely ticklish. So, in summary, my thoughts are that there are probably some people who are not ticklish at all out there, but I dont think very many.

Some people like me for example will claim "Im not ticklish" until i am blue in the face (hehe blue in the face ike a smurf)but some people just really arent ticklish.

I believe that some people, who claim not to be ticklish, really aren't ticklish. Others have never been tickled at their ticklish spots and truly believe, that they're not ticklish - until the day they get tickled at the right spot. Well, then, and some say they're not ticklish to prevent being tickled. 😉

yes- i knew a girl who said she was NOT ticklish to prevent herself from being tickled------well............you can guess how much notice we took of her...hee hee

It is also possible............

that it takes awhile to actually let go and feel the sensation of the tickling. Depending on the history of the ticklee, it is possible that they have learned to control thier reaction or perhaps tense up or hold thier breath if you will, for the few seconds of the tickle test. 😕 just a thought, I'm no expert.

Ask them if they were tickled as children and where they were most ticklish. Try that spot.....and if they are truely NOT ticklish, then they should be able to endure at least a 5 minute tickling without stopping, because no-one can hold thier breath that long.

If they claim they were never tickled as a child because of thier non-ticklishness, then that would would really surprise me.

I think that it can be largely pychological as well.

Quite a few years ago, I was talking with a friend of mine, and he mentioned that though he wasn't ticklish, his younger brother and sister were always able to tickle him.

He told me that just the idea of them trying to tickle him and watching how they went about it just made him ticklish.

Just my 2 cents...of ALL the people who have claimed to be not ticklish in my life only ONE was I not able to disprove...and that was more a matter of circumstance. She was a co-worker and our social circles were different so there was no oppertunity. To a degree I agree with most of what was written so far. Personally I know if I am in a strange situation I am less likely to be ticklish...and I am even MORE ticklish if I have an emotional tie to the tickler (like my wife or girlfriends in the past).
