The new Matrix movie, The Incredible Hulk, and Terminator 3. Any thoughts?

I have a feeling they will all flop.

Matrix 2 will never be able to live up to the first one.

Hulk... come on!!!

And Terminator 3... well five years ago I would have said "let's go," but it's kinda dead now!

Hmmm...yes...quite a thread you've started here...do you know what you're in for? 😛

Ok, let's go...

1) Matrix Reloaded: Didn't like the first one, so I'm guessing the 2nd one will make me wish I spoke only Japanese, or some sort of Mandarin dialect.

"Dude, let's go on an excellent adventure and save the planet from those suit-type dudes!! Can someone help me tie my shoes?"

2) Hulk. Hulk! Hulk!! Hulk!!! HUlk!!! HULk!!! HULK!!! HULK!!!

Yes, me xcited boot HULK. MOSES SMASH!!!

Green dude is my all-time fav CB hero, so I'm much anticipating this upcoming movie with great relish, and a bit o' mustard.

3) T3: ah, geez...when is Conan the Terminator gonna retire. YOU KNOW THAT THEY PLAN TO MAKE FIVE (YES, 5) OF THESE THINGS?!?
By the 5th, Keanu Reeves will be playing the part of Linda Hamilton, and Pauley Shore as Da Terminator!!

"Heeeey, buuuddy, I'll be back, maaaan."

So there you go, straight from the horses...well, you know. 😛

Cheers.😀

I haven't even seen the first Matrix movie, but Keanu Reeves isn't exactly my idol. 😛

The Incredible Hulk might be good, but Spider-Man he's not. 😀

Terminator 3? The series should've been terminated after T2! Arnie's getting rather old for this sort of thing. 🙄

I'm no movie critic, so please, no Roger Ebert jokes! 🙂

The Matrix 2 , I'm REALLY looking forward to this one😀 😀 😀 (got to check out the first one Amk, it's awesome!)

Terminator 3, I would've been interested in seeing it 8 yrs ago, but I agree with Forgotten Tickler, too much time has passed.

Incredible Hulk, who's playing the Hulk , Ben Affleck? Oh, that's right, he's playing the Silver Surfer or something.

The one I'm extremely looking forward to is the sequel to "Desparado":
"Once Upon a Time in Mexico"

Drew😉

Roger Ebert jokes... Gee let me think!

No,

I don't know. The Matrix was good, but NOT as good as the hype!

And I thought Spider-Man was a good movie!

Um trust me on this... the Hulk movie won't be like the others, though I loved Spider-man, I think Ang Lee will truely show the deep story of the Hulk.

Don't forget the Daredevil movie in Feb (Ben Afleck is in this one btw) and the X-Men 2 I think in July.

Peace,
DK

I think the new Matrix movie will do well. The Incredible Hulk will do good also. The special effects will take care of the mean green machine. The Terminator 3 will be a flop. But who knows?

Daredevil ( No)! X-men 2 (Maybe)! I hear there's talk of doing a Ghost Rider movie.

No, he's going to play Daredevil...you know, the blind superhero who's senses are hightened after an accident he had (saved an old guy from getting hit by a truck when he was a kid...but the stuff the truck was carrying got into his eyes and blinded him ) . I think even non Dardevel fans will want to see this movie, because the big black guy who played Jon Coffee in "The Green Mile " is going to play the Kingpin...one big dude with tons of money, smarts and muscle..making him...well...the kingpin of crime...and one of Daredevil's toughest enemies.

Yeah, I know Kingpin is supposed to be a white guy in the comic books, but who cares? Spidey didn't get bitten by a genetically altered spider or have organic webbing in the comics, but I still liked the movie anyway.

As for the Hulk....if they stay true to the comic books...hmm..don't know if it'll be much fun. I personally liked when Hulk had some brains.

Oh well, Marvel movies seem to be doing alright now, so I don't think we'll be too disappointed with either of their new films.

Oh, by the way..who's looking forward to X-Men 2? I'm not sure if they're making it yet or not, but if they are, they might want to make sure it's at least as good as the first one. Now...when are they gonna team up Jubilee with Wolverine in one of those movies?! lol

Didn't like Spider-Man

I've said it before, but I won't say it again (yes I will), I didn't think Toby did a good job as Spider-Man. He was borring, and though Willam DeFoe is a great actor, he vertion of the goblin that they wrot for him sucked. When he is Spider-Man, Parker is suposed to be funny and wise-cracking...never heard one funny word come out of his mouth. The Goblin was a grim master mined who wanted to take over NYC's mobs. This movie killed my intrest in comics on film. The only movie I will go to see might be Wonder Woman, if Lucy Lawless (not Sandra Bulloc)plays the lead.

Hey AMK: I have a comic book where spiderman gets his ass kicked by the Hulk!😛

Personally I'm looking forward to X-men 2, just because I'm a wolverine fan (although I wish they would of just made a wolverine movie). The movie is going to concentrate alot on wolverines past for those of you who are familiar with the weapon X project. I also have alot of faith in Brian Singer. After all he was responsible for "The Usual Suspects".

Yo He-man,

They are currently filming X-men 2 and Hulk as we speak.
Nightcrawler looks very cool, cool tattoos too.

None of the films will be the comics but directors and producers are starting to put heart into these projects.

Personally, I love Jennifer Garner and she just added to my list of superheroines that I want tickled badly. 😉

DK

p.s.- I'm with Drew, looking forward to, "Once upon a time in Mexico".
Did I thank you? I will.

:sowrong: I refuse to see any of these movies until they do more remakes of the karate kid and lassi! And while they're at it, they should do one of Dances with wolves! Now THOSE are movies worth redoing!

Seriously.... I liked the first Matrix. With everyone copying the slow motion moves and stuff, the second will likely be anti-climactic as far as those effects go. I'm still curious aboout what they do with it. The others, I could take or leave.

I think that in many cases redo movies into sequel after sequel.

I mean come on... they are now releasing "Home Alone 4"!!!

Hey, 46 and 2; I have a near mint condition comic of Spider-Man v.s. Wolverine. You know it's a classic. If a Wolverine movie were to be made, I'd be first in line to buy a ticket.

Didn't Spider-Man origainally not have much funny comments, at least when he was new at being a superhero?

On the other hand, even though he didn't have funny comments, he DID have some funny moments in the movie, like when he was trying to fire his web for the first time.

Peter holds up hand "Fllyyy! " ..nothing. "Up, up and away, web!"..nothing "Shazam, web!" still nothing till after he tries tons of different finger positions till he gets it right.

And when he first swung was hilarous. " ....tally ho..." *swings* "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!! " slams right into wall <WHAM!!> lmao jeeze, that hadda hurt.

And I loved how they poked fun at Superman (when Peter goes to change to Spidey and runs toward the camera opening his shirt ) and Batman movies ( c'mon, he's falling straight down, grabs MJ, then shoots his web straight up , what tha heck you THINK they were makin fun of?! lol )

But....But...I LIKE Home Alone! They're soooo much fun to laugh at. I don't take any of them seriously. It's just mindless dribble that provides a release...kinda like most political speaches. 😀
