Using Ignore in Chat

I noticed that when you ignore somone in chat the person you ignore can leave the room and come back and you have to ignore them again . My question to the Mods is is there any way to make the ignore permmanent . I understand the way it is now that there isn't , but can the Mods fix it? It would make life alot easier.

No, unfortunately we don't have any control over the features of the chatroom, it's just a service that we subscribe to not software that we create ourselves.

Well thanks for the response Jeff. That's too bad because having to keep ignoring the same person can get annoying
