Very Long Duration Storm.

New York City is being affected by a very long duration storm, which started tonight, and will conclude on Tuesday.

The storm will have rain, mixed precip, and a few inches of snow, along with very high winds.

How lovely!

Bring on Winter! (Even though technically it is still Fall)

Yeah it got us here in the midwest too. Northern Minnesota got about a foot of snow and the Twin Cities has been dealing with a rain/snow mix for the past couple of days.

Right now there is heavy snow. It sounds like a mix, as something is hitting the window.

Supposedly, up to 5 inches is expected even in the city, and right outside the city.

Its cold and nasty out.

Luckily this is a one day situation, as tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and close to 40 F, not bad for early Dec.

We had about 5 inches of snow...not terrible. It was wet snow at least. Seemed like the roads were mostly cleaned pretty quickly.
