Very random...but Interesting...

Hey I know that this is crazy random but I figured that it wouldn't hurt anybody to post it...


While I was browsing the Story section here at TT I kept noticing the F/M or M/M and kept skipping past them, because 1. I'm straight and dont like M/M and 2 i just could never convince myself that reading things like that was a turn on...don't know the guy thing just threw me off. But then i was thinking "What a waste of talent and story...How many members just skip past these stories and never give the writers the credit they deserve. So here's the idea, Copy and paste the entire story into a document then do the "Find" and "Replace" feature. So for F/M, just find and replace all the Ex. Joe's and replace with your own name, it makes the story very hawt for some reason. Having a entire story about yourself, or so it seems, is crazy hot. You could also do the same with M/M, you just have to change both....

Well i hope this idea doesn't make any of the writers mad, I'm not trying to change anyone's artistic views, I'm just trying to give everybody a chance to read them...

That's a good point. I've actually used that replacement trick myself, but never in this way (usually to make another girl the lee). I was put off by the /M thing also, and still don't go looking for it, but it has its upsides. 😛 If you're a guy, you just gotta imagine yourself in the lee's shoes (or lack thereof).

Smart, dude. You're right about it being a waste of talent. One key to happiness - maximize the resources you've got.

Couldn't help noticing the "Oye!!" up front of your post. Followed by the signature,"England...Get the F@#$ out of Ireland!!!" Fine sentiment to be sure, but I see you're in Olathe, Kansas. Being a transplanted mid-westerner myself I'm kind of curious about that.
