very ticklish love intrest, but with a problem...

So, there's a guy that I like a lot, who likes me. We hang out a lot, have fun, and cuddle a lot. Let's just say it's likely that we'll be dating soon, to make a long story short.

Anyhow, on to my question. I found out from a friend that he's very ticklish, so whenever we're having a cute play-fight (like if I tell him he's awesome and he disagrees) I'll tickle him. We often get into tickle fights, which is a dream come true because I'm much more a lee than a ler (though I do love to make people squirm). Problem being, he goes for the poke/squeeze kind of tickle attack, and it doesn't tickle very much. What really gets me is light teasing tickling. He gets "mad" and says "oh you are not really ticklish, this isn't fair!". I try to say he's poking and squeezing and I can fight off reacting to that much more easily, but he can't seem to change his style. This sucks, because there's NOTHING I love more than a tickle-fight with someone I like. I'm also most ticklish on my feet, where hard tickling even drives me crazy. And he's a bigger guy, so it would be easy for him to pin me and attack me.
What I want to know is how can I drop a subtitle hint to maybe try going after my feet if hard tickling is all he can do, and how I can get him to be able to tickle my sides/stomach/armpits with a touch that works on me.
Sorry if I rambled, I hope I explained things well.

I'm going to go with the obvious, and say tell him. Next time the tickle fight breaks out and he goes with the "you aren't that ticklish route", just say "yes I really am, and enjoy it, but different pressures effect me differently in different places. Take for example, light touches and squeezes on my sides/ribs/etc really get me going, where as hard tickling on my feet really drive me crazy". It shows you really are digging the play between the two of you, and that you don't want him to stop. Talk with him. 🙂

Next time you guys get into one of your tickle-matches , attempt to push him away with your feet ... & when I say "push away" , don't really push him away w/force or anything , but make it seem like that's what you're doing. At the very least , make it look like you're "defending" yourself.

By placing the soles of your feet on his chest & feigning resistance , it might give him incentive to attack that part of the body which is most "available" to him. W/any luck , he'll grab an ankle & go to town on one of those sensitive soles of yours.

After which , it's up to you to tell him or not how much you liked getting tickled like that. Heck ... play the "surprise" card if you want , too. Say , "Hey , that was actually kinda fun!" ... or something like that.

I am going to agree with this...... The whole sexy whisper in the ear thing will probably make him a babbling idiot but he will do as you say (most likely)! Men are cute! The learn if you take the time to teach them! Like puppys!

This is VERY true. I spent just about all day with him today, and now he's officially my first guy (up until him I've only liked girls and identified as a lesbian.)
We had a few more tickle fights, which went better than I could have imagined. When he tried poking my sides and got frustrated because I just laid there still and smiled like "haha", he said something along the lines of having to try to find my spot. SUCCESS as I giggled and said "i don't have a problem with that. Later when we were cuddling, i was lightly stroking his side and stomach, and to my surprise he didn't move at all but rather sighed. I said "wow", he said "what, something wrong?" and I said "well, if anyone did this to me i'd be laughing and trying to get away", and success#2, he realizes that he has to try gentle ticking (which so far he has been unsuccessful at, but he's trying, and it's kinda cute.) Then, later when we were cuddling today, I wrapped my legs around one of his and tried to tickle his foot with my toes. Couldn't quite reach, as I have short toes, and I whispered "damnit" under my breath, making sure he'd hear. He said "what? were you trying to tickle my foot with yours?" and I turned and looked away and said that "noooo" that is an obvious yes. So he INSTANTLY used his legs to try to pull my one up so he could reach it and teach me a lesson for trying to be sneaky.
Let's just say, I can't wait until he gets off from work in a few hours.

I'm sure he'll lead to quite a few stories in the true stories forum, as after our last tickle fight, he was still kinda mad that he can't get my sides/ribs/stomach and I said "eh, but you still love the fight" and he sheepishly said yes, and so I said "did you enjoy everything about it?" and tickled him again until he admited to enjoying tickling/being tickled by me.
We're going on a road trip to get some bondage stuff on payday, as he openly admitted to being into that. Fun times lie ahead for me!

Sounds like you are slowly gaining some ground on the tickle front. When your timid about voicing your preferences, it's sometimes difficult getting your point across. Like you, I find it hard to just lay it all out on the line to the guy I'm interested in.... I get seriously tongue tied when the subject of tickling comes up.

But also like you, I've found other ways to get to the same goal.... might be the longer route, but most of the time, you get there all the same. Besides, I kind of like the coy Q&A games that go on when a guy is trying to find something out about you - it makes it that much more fun when they discover the thing they've been after.... especially if that thing happens to be the best way to push your tickle buttons.

I've been in tickle fight situations like yours - where one person is light touch ticklish and the other isn't - although I'm the one left at the disadvantage in that instance because light touches don't really provoke much of a ticklish reaction out of me (barring one or two key spots). And it is endlessly frustrating when I try to dig into a guy's sides only to get a smug "nice try" smile as a reaction - that's when I know this is one fight I'm not going to win.

It's great that you guys are going to be investing in bondage stuff - I think THAT'S when he is going to be able to really turn the tables on you. He won't feel the need to be rough with you when he knows that you can't go anywhere and he can take his time. Just be sure to play up your initial reactions when he tries out those light tickles - it'll point him in the right direction. And keep leaving those verbal cues.... he'll catch on eventually. And when he does, he'll feel like he's found buried treasure... never mind the fact that you practically drew him the damn map to get there 😉

hah, yeah, that right there is the perfect way to explain it. Today he tried holding me down and exploring a little, "getting ready for tomorrow". I always "whisper" what I want and when.... just the other night i whispered to my bf (i was on top) "want to tickle my foot now darling" while we were making love... he usually does anyway, but some moments are more important than others, obviously. Lea
