Uh, it's pretty easy to tell if you're a guy. Unless your boner is really, really small!!
I was going to say that, but decided to be quiet...for once.

Very well said! I tickle my kids, but there is a huge difference. Tickling someone of the opposite gender is a total invitation to "play", my kids...no.But when a dad tickles his son there is no reason to think its sexual. Its just something that's a happens as part of parent child relationship for a lot of people.
Like someone already said I think this is all about cont7ext. Who is this girl that you're telling about tickling? A stranger? A friend? And why do you want to tell them you like tickling?
If a guy is talking to a girl he's chatting up or just someone he doesn't really know and it's blurted out it's going to sound strange, especially if he has a fetish for tickling girls, and he's attracted to this girl, and is probably saying it with an emphasis that he may not realise is there (while dribbling a bit, flushing and trousers tenting....)
Which is a bit different to when you are talking to someone you've built some rapport with and tickling comes up for some reason or you share something about yourself with them.
People tickle each other all the time, even if they don't really know each other well, but they can do this because they probably don't have a fetish for it, so it doesn't come across as sexual or weird.
If you tell someone you like tickling, and you're a guy - it's creepy.
If you tell someone you like tickling, and you're a girl - it's cute.
That's just the world we live in....
