I'm sure all those who have been following football have heard that question. Does Bud Adams keep Vince Young or Jeff Fisher? This should be a no brainer... Bud Adams should choose...................

JEFF FISHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vince Young is not, and never will be a quality NFL quarterback. Jeff Fisher is a quality coach and will do more for the Titans than Vince Young ever will. If you remember, Jeff Fisher did not want to draft Young, and neither did his offensive coordinator at the time, Norm Chow. But Bud Adams fell in love with Young and picked him regardless of what his football staff wanted to do. Young has time and time again failed at being a quality QB, continues to disrespect a proven NFL coach, and he gets to stay?

Unbelievable. Bud Adams will regret the move if he officially keeps Vince Young and lets Jeff Fisher go.

Thoughts?

Vince Young... Young Crybaby... Donovan McNabb... Old crybaby.

In 16 years Jeff Fisher has accomplished jack shit. He has ran his course. He is a failure of a coach and is quite overrated. Why keep him when he can not follow up any good season with another. I hate how coaches like him manipulate the situation to make themselves look squeeky clean in the whole situation....Shanahan....

No its time for Jeff to go. And Donovan Mcnabb a crybaby? You gotta be joking.

I would can both, Young cause he isn't a pro player, Fischer cause like mentioned above if you cant do it in 16 years winning a Super Bowl not just getting there once and losing, and plus I like to see him come back as are defensive corr.

The Titans might need a change in both positions. I side with Fisher in this battle, but he might benefit from a change of scenery, too. I don't think he'd have a hard time finding another coaching job.

As for VY, he needs to take some time off, disappear for a while, then come back a new man. A year or two out of the spotlight, then he can try a comeback with a new team.

There shouldn,t evn be a debate, Jeff Fisher. He has been there over a decade, the Titans went to the playoffs with him and almost won a superbowl. For him to be coaching as long as he has with one team should tell you he is doing somethng right.

What has Vince Young done except embarass himself and the team?

I can't believe there is any talk about this to be quite frank.

The only other long tendered coach besides Fisher, Andy Ried, has done alot more for the team. Fisher has been there longer and done a lot less. He has only six 10 or more win seasons on 16 years. Reid has eight in 11 seasons. Face it, Fisher has lost it after the 2003 season which his record has been 54-57. His leash has been slack for to long and his show is old.

I also do not care much for Vince Young either.

Well Mister, if push comes to shove, who gives the team a better chance of winning?

Jeffi Fisher probably needs to get out of Tennessee. Despite what some naysayers says, Fisher is the only reason why the Titans are relevant. There's a reason he is the NFL's longest tenured coach. He did not want to draft Vince Young, Bud Adams did. Drafting that failure is the reason why the Titans haven't been consistent with winning. Once they get a QB, they are a very dangerous team. Remember when Kerry Collins was starting in 2008? The Titans were on a roll. But he is too old now.

Vince Young is a bust. He does not have the skill set to be a NFL QB. He is slightly better than Jamarcus Russell. He's about the same as Alex Smith. Honestly, I blame that stupid shotgun option offense in college. Vince Young has no clue on how to take snaps under center and be good with it. If you recall, Texas did not run that crappy offense until Vince got there. Notice they got away from it when Colt McCoy took over. That offense hids the deficiencies a QB has.

Vince Young should be a 3rd string QB somewhere. If Bud Adams is smart, keep the one consistent thing you have. Solid coaching. Drop the bust.

Naw Chris Johnson has that job now. Also the only reason he is the longest tenured Coach is I guess the owner think Fisher is going to pull a Cowhler some time soon...any day now...and please Prime man. How are you going to put the blame on the 4 year player instead on the 16 year head coach? How did they go from a fabulous rookie year to this in just 4 years? And don't blame age. John Kitna is the same age and he seems to be playing alright.

I agree with half of this. He is slightly better then Jamarcus Russel and on par with Alex Smith? He has a far better record then both of them as a starter. They were 5-3 before the whole mess started. last year they started 0-6(with starter Kerry Kollins) and when Young started they Finished the season 8-8. But I agree with The spread offense kills QBs, but Young is still salvageable. Fisher and his playcalling are not. He is done and over with in Tennessee.

Your to harsh on Young. 16 years is long enough to show that Fisher is not taking you no more further. But hell, might as well just ship them both out. Donovan Mcnabb will be available. Give him Moss, Britt, and Washington and you will not be missing much from those two departures.

Honestly, I think both Young and Fisher might be headed elsewhere after this season.

Fisher will likely find a job with one of the multiple teams that has already let go of their own head coach.

Young will either end up as a starter with a struggling team or as a backup with a decent team.

Fisher would be a good match for the Broncos, and Young could serve as a starter for the Cardinals.

Quarterback of course. coaches are not out on the field.

That is if your QB is any good. Also, Vince Young will not be out on the field. The day of his latest meltdown was his last game in a Titan uniform. So for you to say that he will be out on the field is inaccurate. Face it, the guy sucks and he doesn't have the mental make up yo play in the NFL.

Your really going to make that assessment about a 4 year QB? a 4 Year QB with a winning record? And you may be wrong because it seems the owner is leaning more towards Young which is not good for Fisher. Really was Micheal Vick a good quarterback in his early years?

After a long, decent but over-rated career Donovan McNabb is toast, because of all the bleeding hearts I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in the Hall of Fame... VInce Young still has potential but has to find the right pimp... Jeff Fisher will end up somewhere, probably as a head coach.

Man, people don't seem to realize Vince Young is a garbage QB. He has no idea on how to read defenses well. Think about it, this is the second time he lost his job. Why if he was so great? Keep in mind when the Titans were 13-3 in 2008, who was the QB? It wasn't Vince Young....

As for Jeff Fisher, there aren't many coaches with a better resume. If the Titans let him go, it is a huge mistake. I hope he does get let go. That way he can come to San Francisco and get us to a Super Bowl...

Who said Vince Young is great? I just said he has a winning record. And who is suppose to teach him to read defenses? The Coach. the reason why he has lost the starting job again? Because Fisher never wanted hi like everyone has been saying.

And guess what prime, the same starting qb that went 13-3 started the following season 0-6. And who went 8-2 the rest of that season? Vince Young. And I feel sorry for you, Prime, if you think Fisher can do that for your team. We have seen the extent of his coaching ability. And it peeked a few years after he went to the Super Bowl.

Seriously, Jeff Fisher did Titans fans a favor by benching Vince the first time. Then when the roof caved in during 2009, they sent in Vince and they had a surge. Congratulations. What happened this year when Vince was the QB? He sucks. Period. I called it when he was first drafted. He ha sno clue on how to run a NFL offense. He can only be successful in a shotgun, Urban Meyers type, offense. Too bad that crappy offense won't work full time in the NFL.

Jeff Fisher has been doing a hell of a job. Tell me, was his Titans teams full of talent during the middle of the decade? no. They were in rebuilding mode after a good run during the first part of the decade. Then Peyton Manning took over. That would explain the lack of division titles for a long stretch of time. I would take Jeff Fisher any day. The man can get the job done. His players love him and rest assured, he knows what he is doing.

I do not see what people see in Jeff Fisher. What is it exactly has he been getting done? 2 division titles in 10 years is getting it done? 2-4 in the playoffs in those last 2 years, going 0-2 is getting it done? Oh but please do come up with the excuse of rebuilding for crap record in the mid 2000s-present date. This guy has been a massive failure.

Oh and as bad as Young plays he is still 30-17 as a starter. he is RIGHT behind Flacco and Matt Ryan. And he had to play on the field with the "less talented" team. Not coach it.

Young's got to go.

Vince Young is a head case. Plain and simple. He scored extremely low on the test QB's are presented before drafting. He has got just as many off-the-field issues as he has on-the-field shortcomings. He will get picked up somewhere next year. (Minnesota is looking for a QB). He had his chance in Tennessee, it didn't work out. Time for the Titans to cut their losses.

Maybe I was a bit hard on Young in my previous posts but I still stand by nthe decision to keep Fisher if given a choice. I also stand by that it's a no brainer.

The bggest thing about Young, which unfortunetely is a tragic flaw, is that he has a fragile psyche and a thin skin. I think that negatively affects his plahy. I admit I have seen Young play well but sometimes you do n't know what you are going to get with him. Fisher is a more calming presence which rub off on his players which hence enable you to play your game

As a Panthers fan i know a thing or six about crappy QBs. (i know your laiughing just take you time to regain ur composure before reading on) Jake delhomme has a winning record and almost beat the patriots in their prime for a superbowl. Vince Young will never be right behind jake delhomme much less flacco and ryan who have both had winning seasons in three years. it may be stale with fisher in tennessee but i would keep him before i would keep young. i mean chris johnson went to school at ECU and fisher discovered him plus with jeff as ur coach u always stand a chance to win. young may be 30-17 as a starting QB but i think its because of fisher. and as far as fisher being 0-2 in the playoffs lately.... the patroits havnt won a playoff game in 4 years.... its a tough competitive league. that is why success is so celebrated
