Violence in fetish novels

Hi everyone. Very soon I plan on starting the novel 'Excel Force' and I wanted to get everyones take on what I have in mind. The story I have planned has violence, but it's more excesive than my usual work. And what I mean by violent is this... Demons being killed and if I write this I do plan on going into some detail. Now this is what I wanted to know. Would you want to read something that involves demons being slaughtered or should I clean it up a bit and make it more friendly? Incase anyones wondering this is a tickling novel, but instead of having the goodguys being tortured by the bad guys I wanted to make the good guys tickle torture each other. Sometimes friendly sometimes not.

So what do you think?

What I have in mind for the Excel force is them to use sabers to fight. (Not light sabers lol) And when they fight they cut through the demons, sever an arm or a leg or a head. Just things like that.

my advice is go with whatever fits the story best. I'm not sure of what the storie is exactly. For a quick example, i'm working on a story that involves torture and while some of it is tickling, some of it is not, and has to be at least described in some detail for the full impact.

However, in your stories, ask yourself if you need to write about the severing of limbs in great detail. Does it fit the story and add to it, or does it take something away.

I see no problem with violence in fetish stories. Most of my stories have rather large quantaties of violence in them in, but they are mainly tickle fetish stories. Write what you like to write about, not what you think other people want to read about.

Well what I have in mind is a monster/demon reaching for someone or swinging a hand at them and they slice the hand in two or something. Nothing like describing the blood pouring from the wound. Also I have a scene in the novel I'm really excited about (doesn't involve tickling, but does involve some real tear jerking stuff.) I'm still thinking if it's necessary or not because I want to put a lot of heart into the characters. I can't see them being sensative to each others needs and than killing a monster mercilessly.

I personally don't see a problem with it either. I just didn't want to offend anyone.

I don't know if anyone would find this interesting, but I recently bought the game 'Tomb Raider: Anniversary' and I unlocked the commentary for the first level. Well they said that killing animals was considered worse than killing people. They said it was funny how you could run up to some bloke and blow them away, but killing a wolf was worse. Just didn't know if people would consider killing demons worse than people 😉

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all the help making this decision clearer for me. But I think I'm going to go with my personal thoughts on the idea of violence in a fetish novel and not do it. I'm doing the novel, but I think it can be done without the dismemberment of demons/monsters. Instead they'll fight them without making them loose body parts. But to make this as realistic as possible the tickle torture will occur between the 'Excel Force' members and not include the monsters.
