My girlfriend and I are both in our 50s, and in 2024 it was time for us to get our first colonoscopies. (Fun fun fun).
Mutual friends from our church recommended a local gastroenterologist. My girlfriend, who I will call Lisa, usually wants me to go first when we try something new. So I went first. Step 1 was the initial consultation in his office. It was the standard doctor's appointment for the most part. He went over my medical history, explained how the procedure is performed, gave me instructions for the weekend before the procedure, etc. Towards the end of the appointment, I was sitting in a chair as he was doing a little physical examination. As he was finishing, he sort of ran his fingers across my stomach. Not sure if that was him being playful or if it was part of the exam. Now, I'm not that ticklish, but the surprise of the moment affected me.
I immediately thought of Lisa. If it affected ME like this, she might just fall onto the floor when it's her turn. 😁
Now, I could hardly wait until she had HER appointment. For almost two months, I didn't say a word about the incident. I had my procedure in September, and she didn't schedule her initial appointment until October. She asked me about how things went, and I played it cool. "He was very nice and very thorough."
Finally, the day arrived for her consultation. Unfortunately, I couldn't join her for the appointment. It's a small office anyway, so it would be hard for me to be there. I kept an eye on my phone, waiting for a text or call. Finally, I called her when I knew she would be home. "So, how was the appointment?"
"OMG! It tickled me so much! I laughed out loud in the office!" 😂😂😂
Normally, I'm not into other guys tickling her. But I enjoyed this experience. 🥰😁
