i wouldnt mind being woken up that way, being woken by something i enjoy just starts your day that much better 🙂 If its by someone i care for and trust, then im all for it..

on a side note.. since when did peoples opinions turn into out and out fighting??? wow people chill, its just an opinion to which everyone is entitled, last time i checked no one was saying people are at fault for their "disorders"...

This is a great topic. As long as I remember, when I was a kid, I loved it when my dad tickled my mom, and I was always fascinated by how ticklish my mom was on her soles, when my dad woke her up by tickling her feet on those days when they didn't have to go to work. I usually woke up very early and dad would give me a drink of water, or a banana. We would then play a little and then he would say that it was time to wake up mommy. Wearing a mischeivous grin, he would crawl up to their bed, and his hand disappeared under the blanket, it would only take a few seconds to hear my mom who was sound asleep, to burst into laughter. As this was all invisible to me (I didn't actually see her feet and/or any movement under the blanket), it seemed like magic to me. A strong, tall and authoritative woman as my mom was, she completely lost it within just a few seconds, and I was all the more intrigued by such a sudden transformation. Mom would giggle uncontrollably trying desperately to hold it, but to no avail. It seemed like dad knew just the right spots to touch the right way to produce that reaction )) This was amazing!

If you think you gonna wake me up tickling me period, unless you are my significant other and even then I wouldn't be happy about that. I don't like being woken up in that fashion.

A close female friend and I do this to eachother quite often. In her words, "you want to be the first to wake up at the cabin." Although I'm usually the one that's nicer about it, using gentle touches (she is a heavy sleeper, but extremely ticklish, so it usually takes a minute or two to wake her up.) AND I make sure either coffee or breakfast or both are ready and nearby.

Just a couple weekends ago she got me pretty good. I woke up flailing and laughing as she had a solid hold on my ankle and was scrambling her nails just under the ball of my foot. She said it was a better way to wake up than to whatever kitchen appliance she was going to be running (coffee bean grinder I think.) I agreed.
