Ok, I hope I can word this right.... This is one thing I do not understand and I am hoping some of you can fill me in, especially those at NEST...

Not everyone is aroused by tickling, but a good majority of us are. Yes, I've noticed most men within our fetish who I've played with get obviously visually aroused by tickling or being tickled. Being a supreme tickle fetishist, where I am or what I'm doing had absolutely no bearing on my thoughts about tickling. I can be at work trying to sell a high priced item to my customer, but I can't stop thinking about her feet or what I'd do to her if I had her in my hands (and if I were single). Nor can I halt the rather high volume of blood flowing away from my head and into my head.

Personally, I am not aroused by the act of tickling. Now, having said that, I'm gonna contradict it immediately by saying that when I'm playing with someone on a more intimate level, OF COURSE THAT'S arousing... clothing coming off to allow access to ticklish areas that one wouldn't normally be allowed to tickle at a social event like NEST or another Gathering. Most likely you've just never noticed and wouldn't be likely to, Dan. You're a heterosexual male, afterall....another mans 'midsection' would probably be the last place your attention would be drawn...lol. From my 'own' experiences, nearly every man I have tickled at a gathering does have some visible arousal. Self discipline is easy to suggest, but I know I can't control my own body, and most people I know have no control over their own either in that sense. I certainly don't want to make them embarrassed or uncomfortable by drawing attention to their reaction. That would be rather mean and immature. I know someone in the community that was done to, and it was rather traumatic for them. It's best to be aware of the possibility that it happens, yet to pretend it doesn't when you've noticed it has happened.

As for getting tickled by or tickling family or children...umm, no. That's a TOTALLY different type of tickling. I don't even register it as tickling.

This is what is has always came down to for me...and it took years for my wife to understand this:

The erection is a physical response to certain stimuli. The desire to have sex is a physcological response to the person I am receiving stimuli from.
