Just a warning to ayone buyingvideos. I recently discovered Ace Foot Production videos from reading a review/post here on TMF. I ordered a video from them entitled Ticklish Torment on 12/11. I have not received anything from them and after TWO emails to them I have not gotten any response. I have a printed receipt with a transaction # and my credit card info on it for my records. Short of contacting the Postal Inspector, does anyone have any suggestions?

Ever Hear Of This Concept??

4 to 6 weeks for delivery?

Just wondered.

Tron

i think you're out of line tron

this is the second thread you've jumped on people for wanting their videos, or at least a response to inquiries.

and for the record the "norm" for tickle video delivery is less than a week!

steve

Thank you Steve. Your are correct, I have never waited more than a week for a video and I have hundreds and that still does not explain why I have received no response to emails as like other companies who respond within day.

Actually less than a week is fortunate though 4-6 weeks is not tolerable.

I general wait 1-2 weeks.

Go Go Gadget patience.

Areenactor is right.

Steve is right Tron. You're out of line. With the exception of "He Who Shall Remain Nameless", you know who I'm talking about, I have never ordered a video from any vendor who has not delivered in a week or so. At the very least I've always received prompt responses to my email. In my experience 4 - 6 weeks after ordering is not the norm with credit card orders. Personal checks quite possibly as the vendor may want to wait for an out of state check to clear the bank before shipping. Just my 2 cents. TC

Same ole' song....same story

4-6 weeks for delivery in this day and age is a joke. Call your credit card company. Again, my experience with legitimate video companies is turnaround time in a week or less. You have every right to be upset and complain. What has happened to service? Do people like Tron teach our children apathy and to settle for mediocrity? In this day and age, a simple email explaining or even apologizing will do. It's good to see that level headed people with experience ordering videos in this forum are able to give reasonable and sound advice. Again, this is an issue and thank goodness there is a forum devoted to our favorite fetish that allows the consumer to be heard. 😀

I have a slightly different predicament, but perhaps someone could profer some advice, anyway:
I ordered three videos from a B&D company called ZFX Productions and waited awhile(I mean AWHILE, like 6-8 weeks),then emailed to see what was up with the order. They emailed back promptly saying that my order had been returned to them, and that they credited my card for the money. I can't imagine WHY my order was returned. They are located here in Florida, I am located here in Florida...the State DOES have a reputation for porn busts, so I don't know if they got cowed for some reason. Anyway, most of their stuff I've either got through other sources or am not interested in, but these three videos I really wanted to get for the collection. Given what I've presented, would it be a waste of time to try ordering those videos from them again? Any thoughts on this situation are appreciated🙂.

LMAO!!!! TCarl, that is :sowrong: 😀

Re: Most Conventional Companies Say

I normally get my videos in less than half that time and I live in England. I have to say Mike, I've never seen any disclaimer on Jeff or anyone else's site about 4-6 weeks. Have you got a URL with one?

I dunno,,, I ordered a tape from KJ more than a year ago and am still waiting on it,,,<Ducking> 🙂

Oh Rob....you poor baby you! Still waiting! Good thing you didn't hold your breath on that one, huh? 😀

The same thing happened to me once, after ordering a perfectly mundane item from a regular, "normal" website. I ordered the same thing again, and it arrived promptly. I figured that they'd just screwed up my address and sent it to the wrong person, who "return-to-sender" -ed it.

Also, if you're using a PO Box, remember that certain shipping companies won't deliver to them.

We had a long delay in getting a tape from another video company this past summer. I won't say who here since it's a moot point. We wrote them about it and gave them all the pertinent information from the order. They checked their records, saw that there'd been a mix-up of some sort and got it right out to us...along with another tape for the inconvenience. They e-mailed us to let us know when it was sent out and again a week later to be sure it had reached us. They were very good about it...as are most companies.

Though 4-6 weeks isn't really a norm for other times of year, I wouldn't be surprised if it took that over the holidays. I also wouldn't be surprised if a producer was away for the holidays and simply not around to get it out right away. (They DO have lives.) However, when ordering via automated systems, I think it would be good for them to put up a notice if they're going to be away for any length of time that would result in a delay. That way, folks would expect the delay. Just a thought.

Thanks For The Thoughts

I appreciate hearing an opinion on that predicament, asutickler🙂 .
I may try the order again sometime in the future, depending on the money-situation improving. It hadn't occurred to me, but it may have been something as simple as a shipping company not delivering to a P.O.Box.

Dispute Resolutions 101

Okay boys and girls welcome to the world of dispute resolutions 101.

I'll be honest in saying that unless there is a large dollar amount, a lot of complaints, etc., it would be hard pressed for a postal inspector to get involved (external crimes) on such a low dollar amount.

However, here are some things you can do.

First of all hopefully it has not been more than 60 days since you placed the order. Most credit card companies have a limit on when you can dispute a charge. In this case you are disputing the charge not on the basis of a fraudulent charge (you made the charge) but that the company did not deliver the goods.

As to why your order was returned, it could have been a number of issues. If they had to have a signature they would have put a notice to pick up the package rather than leave it on your doorstep. If after a certain time you do not claim it (after a final notice) the USPS would return it (if this is through the USPS). Otherwise the label could have gotten smeared and illegible but they were able to return it to sender. The other possibility is called looping. Looping is when mail is not processed correctly and is sent back to the sender instead of being delivered, however, that usually happens with metered mail. The possibilities are great in number including being delivered to the wrong house and the person sent it RTS (Return to Sender) instead of having it redelivered.

Call your credit card company and explain you ordered something through a company and they have not delivered. You have attempted repeatedly to have the merchandise you ordered delivered. The credit card company will mail, fax, or even give you a link to download a complaint form. I would leave off the title and just include the item number to avoid embarassment. If they press say it is of an adult nature and you don't feel comfortable going into further detail.

Next since you cannot get a hold of the company for a response (they'll ask you that and explain when and how you have tried) the card issuing bank will issue you a credit for the amount. This is called a charge back. The merchant bank for the video company (such a CC Bill etc) will get the dispute and forward it on to the video company.

The video company then has a set amount of time, at least 30 days, to reply to the charge back. If the company fails to respond you are automatically awarded the dispute resolution in your favor. If the company had proof of mailing and delivery you would lose said dispute and then your card issuing bank would retract the credit in the form of a charge. However, I doubt this would happen.

Each charge back costs the merchant bank (and of course the video company) a processing charge for every charge back filed. It is usually in the best interest of the company to try and resolve these matters first.

I had a similar problem with ongoing charges and actually contacted CC bill (who Ace was using at the time) directly. Try contacting them and see if they can resolve the issue first before filing a charge back with your card issuing bank.

If you feel you need to go further I would contact the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org. From there you can link to the BBB office nearest the company who did not deliver and file a complaint. The BBB will rarely act on complaints unless there is sufficient loss or number of complaints to file criminal charges with the District Attorney's Office.

Hope this helps.
