Week #10 Football Pool

We have reached week #10 of the football season. It goes by so fast. I wish the basketball season would go as fast as the football goes. Oh well.

If you are wondering why a Tuesday Night post, well we now have Thursday night football. I, personally hate the idea except for Thanksgiving Day, but then again, I am not running the league. So from this point forward, we will be locked into the spreads on Tuesday Night when I am here and available to post these games.

Also, I will let you know that next week, I will not post the standings until LATE in the week for I have personal business to attend to in New York and will be back in the middle of next week. So please be patient with me as far as next week's standings.

I think I have taken care of all the junk I needed to take care of. So without further ado, the spreads for week #10 in the league where they pay...for pay!!!

Denver Broncos +3 @ Cleveland Browns 8:15pm --- nobody really cares about this game do they??? But just in case, Brady Quinn gets an opportunity to show everyone that anyone can play against the Broncos defense.

Baltimore Ravens +1 @ Houston Texans 1pm --- Though I would love to pick the Texans here at home, I believe Rosenfels will be in for a long afternoon against the Ravens.

Jacksonville Jaguars -6 1/2 @ Detroit Lions 1pm --- heck lets be honest, if Jacksonville can't beat Cincinnati, they have a shot at losing here. Lions have covered in three of the last four games. The one game they didn't cover they lost by 1/2 point from covering the spread. Lions win in an upset.

Tennessee Titans -3 @ Chicago Bears 1pm --- Big time battle here. Titans 8-0 will start wearing a bulleye on their backs. I believe they will win this tough game against the Bears. But they might not cover.

Buffalo Bills +4 @ New England Patriots 1pm --- love to pick the Bills here, but they have lost two straight after their 5-1 start. I think beating New England at home is still a tough thing to do.

New Orleans Saints Pick'em @ Atlanta Falcons 1pm --- Drew Brees is the best QB in the NFL right now. This will be a fun game to watch.

St.Louis Rams +8 @ New York Jets 1pm --- Being a Jets fan, this is probably the easiest game to pick. This is a trap game. The Jets will probably win, but they will make their fans sweat it out. So if you are actually betting ( which you should not ever gamble ) take St.Louis and the points.

Seattle Seahawks +9 @ Miami Dolphins 1pm --- Seattle is awful coming East. They are 1-17 in their last 18 trips East. Nothing will change here. The Fish in a romp over the hapless Seahawks.

Green Bay Packers +2 @ Minnesota Vikings 1pm --- Run AP Run. If that doesn't work, this could be a long afternoon for the Vikings.

Carolina Panthers -9 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm --- If you score out only 77 yards in total offense, you probably don't belong in the NFL. But then again we are talking the Raiders here. Carolina will win this easy.

Kansas City Chiefs +15 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm --- I know that 15 points is alot to give up. The Chiefs have played two tough games back to back without being rewarded with a win. Law of averages say they will put up a stinker. On the road seems like the likely of places to put up that stinker. This has 45-10 written all over it.

Indianapolis Colts +3 1/2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 4:15pm --- Only reason I took the Colts here is because I need Payton to do well in my three of my Fantasy Leagues.

New York Giants +3 @ Philadelphia Eagles 8:15pm --- Tough game to call. Westbrook is back and healthy. McNabb is playing well. But don't fall behind early like. If Philly falls behind early, they could lose this game.
