Baltimore Ravens +3 @ Tennessee Titans Ravens are my pick to win the AFC, so why pick against them now. This one's more of a "feel" pick. I just don't get a #1 "feel" from the Titans, despite the record and good play this year. I don't know what it is, can't put my finger on it, but I see Baltimore in this one. That defense is just too good.


Arizona Cardinals +10 @ Carolina Panthers Arizona found a defense when they needed it last week, they'll forget where they put it this week.

Philadelphia Eagles +4 @ New York Giants Eli Manning will not give the Eagles the game like Tarvaris Jackson did.


San Diego Chargers +6 @ Pittsburgh Steelers San Diego beating Indy, while an "upset", doesn't surprise me. Indy sucks against the 3-4. San Diego beating Pittsburgh would shock the monkeyshit out of me. Like the Ravens, this defense is just too good.

I can see 3 of these games go either way. In any event...

Tennessee Titans -3, 17-13 final in the most boring game of the playoffs.

Carolina Panthers -10, Normally I'd pick the team who's scoring 27 a game in a >10 pt spread... but the Cards CAN'T run or stop the run. Pick Sweet Carolina. 37-21 final.

Pittsburgh Steelers -6, I don't care if Big Ben is prone to self-destruct and kill his team. The Bolts lose. But it'll be a great game. I'm thinking in the area of a 24-17 final.

Arizona Cardinals +10 @ Carolina Panthers: Run, run and then run some more, then a quick pass or two to Smith.

Philadelphia Eagles +4 @ New York Giants: Uncle Mo is staying around in Philly. This is where being off a week against a hot team does you no good.

San Diego Chargers +6 @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Uncle Mo has 2 homes this week. Another example of being off a week just may send you home. San Diego has 1 more week of extra-human efforts in them.

Baltimore Ravens +3 @ Tennessee Titans: It's the Ed Reed Show, & Kerry Collins was terrorized by a powerful Titans team before in the 2001 Superbowl. He won the regular season matchup, but...It's time for the Revenge of the Reed.

Arizona Cardinals +10 @ Carolina Panthers: Arizona can't play when it's 54 degrees & raining...how much more in colder weather?

Philadelphia Eagles +4 @ New York Giants: There is one discrepancy: The Giants are not overlooking the Eagles because the Eagles won the second game. just pound Brandon Jacobs into the defense over & over again..

San Diego Chargers +6 @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Even if Roethlisberger is out, I'd still pick the Steelers here. No LT, Limited Gates? Mr. Sproles won't rack up 328 yards against Blitzburgh!

Baltimore Ravens +3 @ Tennessee Titans 4:30pm ( CBS )--- Game already in progress. Don't know what is happening in game but I would have picked the Titans.


Arizona Cardinals +10 @ Carolina Panthers 8:15pm ( FOX ) --- I do believe that Arizona will score enough points to keep this UNDER 10 points. It is suppose to rain this even as well which could give the Cardinals an equalizer to help them stop Carolina's potent running attack. Do I think Arizona will win this game??? Absolutely not. But they will with the help from mother nature keep this game close.

Philadelphia Eagles +4 @ New York Giants 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- The Eagles are a tough team. I do think that the Eagles have a chance to outright beat the Giants here. Will they??? I don't know. But I do believe that this game is decided by a field goal.


San Diego Chargers +6 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 4:45pm ( CBS ) --- When these guys played earlier this year there was a biazzare ending to the game that finished 11-10. I don't believe this game should be that close. For whatever reason, I don't think that the Chargers behind Norv Turner's coaching is that good. The bad thing for the Chargers is that they made the playoffs here. Had they missed the playoffs Turner might had gotten the axe. Now they must deal with this aweful head coach for at least another season. Steelers 24- Chargers 10.
