Indianapolis Colts -3 @ Houston Texans 1:00pm --- Texans FINALLY are playing a home game. They reaaly need to win against the Colts but are 1-15 lifetime against the Colts. Look for Manning to have a Manning type day. Colts to spoil Texans home opener.

Tennessee Titans -3 @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00pm --- Titans are a REALLY good team. Though the Ravens are pretty good themselves, I am going to favor Kerry Collins over Joe Flacco.

San Diego Chargers -6 1/2 @ Miami Dolphins 1:00pm --- You know, I almost went Dolphins here. I am just not sold on the Fish yet. I would normally want the points here. I might get this game wrong because I don't like laying a touchdown to a West Coast team heading to the East Coast. But I am going with the better team and that would be the Chargers.

Kansas City Chiefs +9 1/2 @ Carolina Panthers 1:00pm --- Carolina at home should be no problem against the Chiefs. What Larry Johnson did last week, well he will have to show me he can do it again against this defense. Giving the points and give me the Panthers at home.

Washington Redskins +6 @ Philadelphia Eagles 1:00pm --- Brian Westbrook will be back. That gives McNabb options. That also spells dome for a Redskins team living a truly charmed life. Besides, the Eagles NEED this game. They can't fall two games behind the Cowboys and Skins.

Chicago Bears -3.5 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm --- This is the Lions 1st game they will play since they fired their beleaguered GM Matt Millen. I don't know what the mindset will be in Detroit but I would imagine since heads started to roll here that the coaching staff will have this team ready to play this game. Going only on gut ( because common sense say take the Bears ) I will take the Lions.

Atlanta Falcons +7 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm --- Packers at home against the Falcons. You have to take the Packers here. Though, the key to winning this game for the Falcons will be to BLITZ every chance they get. Find out if Aaron Rodgers is REALLY able to play.

Seattle Seahawks +7 @ New York Giants 1:00pm --- Seattle has not played well on the East Coast in quite sometime. Nothing changes here. Give me the Giants.

Tampa Bay Bucanneers +3 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm --- Broncos at home for the most part are a better team. Cutler looks like he has started to understand his role and I think the Broncos will win this one. Key for Tampa Bay will be to run, run, run the ball. If you run effectively in Denver you have a chance.

New England Patriots -3 @ San Francisco 49ers 4:15pm --- New England is 10-9 after the bye week. I think the Patriots will win this game but I can see a close shootout. A score of 34-31 in this game is possible.

Buffalo Bills Pick'em @ Arizona Cardinals 4:15pm --- I think that the Cardinals need to save their season. They have not lost at home and Buffalo who has lived a very charmed life is 4-0. I think that the Bills get knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten.

Cincinnati Bengals +17 @ Dallas Cowboys 4:15pm --- Let's see. Last week the Cowboys were favored at home by 11 and LOST. So what do they do??? They store this team as 17 point favors??? You got to be kidding me. Dallas defense has yet to prove they can really stop teams in their tracks. This Bengals team can be high scoring. This will be a shootout. Wouldn't be surprised to see 40 points go up for Dallas. This final will probably be 38-27. Dallas will win. But if you are picking Dallas to cover you can probably pick you nose and come up with the winning Lottery ticket.

Pittsburgh Steelers +4 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 8:15pm --- Jerome Bettis, where are you???

Minnesota Vikings +3 @ New Orleans Saints 8:35pm --- Drew Brees should be able to pick apart this secondary. Though Patten and Colston are not there. McAllister, Bush, Henderson and Moore could help this offense against the Vikings.

Tennessee Titans -3 @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00pm - The #1 & #2 most physical teams in football respectively. Trust Kerry Collins.

San Diego Chargers -6 1/2 @ Miami Dolphins 1:00pm - Run the Chargers out of town, Ronnie Brown. Wait, let me put you on my starting roster first...

Kansas City Chiefs +9 1/2 @ Carolina Panthers 1:00pm - Carolina's not that good, & KC ain't that bad. Plus, Carolina will go back to ball control, which keeps winning margins low...

Washington Redskins +6 @ Philadelphia Eagles 1:00pm - Boy wo I wish I held onto Jason Campbell. I'll take the underdog vs. the line since no NFC East matchup should have more than a 3 or 3.5 next to a team. I'll take the Redskins simply because I can do so.

Chicago Bears -3.5 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm - Matt Millen has been fired. Talent doesn't change overnight, however.

Atlanta Falcons +7 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm - Show me a rookie QB in Green Bay ready for the pressure. (Aaron I don't think will play, & that's why I'm taking the straight upset.)

Seattle Seahawks +7 @ New York Giants 1:00pm - The Giants don't blow teams out. Silly me. They didn't blow out the Bungles with Plaxico Burress, so what makes me think they will blow out Seattle? Also of note: they play badly after the bye week...This game scares me.

Tampa Bay Bucanneers +3 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm - Brian Griese may get benched if he can't tell the difference between Tampa Bay & Denver.

New England Patriots -3 @ San Francisco 49ers 4:15pm - A lot of west/east coast trips, & I like home teams usually in this. Plus, Matt Cassel is not nearly as good as that golden boy.

Buffalo Bills Pick'em @ Arizona Cardinals 4:15pm - I'm starting Trent Edwards today, plus Kurt Warner's ball security issues are back.

Cincinnati Bengals +17 @ Dallas Cowboys 4:15pm - Take the points because Marion Barber & Felix Jones will see more carries, which decreases scoring.

Pittsburgh Steelers +4 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 8:15pm - Note to Jaguars defense: Please allow Maurice Jones Drew to have a good running day by forcing many three & outs. Pittsburgh can't run the football anymore (washed up 4th stringer Mewelde Moore had significant carries last week)
