Sunday, October 18th,2009

Kansas City Chiefs +6 @ Washington Redskins 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- No faith in Washington. This could be a Chiefs win.

Houston Texans +5 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Cincinnati could be cocky as stated by Robace and Slacker on TMF radio. Or they could just be that good. Taking the Bengals.

Cleveland Browns +14 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Cleveland beat the Bills last week. I hope they remember that moment they might need to hold on to that for a while.

Baltimore Ravens +3 @ Minnesota Vikings 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Ravens mad. An interesting game. This game will be won by a FG.

St.Louis Rams +9 1/2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- St. Louis will extend their losing streak to 17 games. They will threating Detroit's 19 game losing streak.

New York Giants +3 @ New Orleans Saints 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- Can't bet against Brees coming off a bye week.

Carolina Panthers -3 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- Tampa Bay is bad. Just how bad, they will lose this game to an equally bad Panthers team.

Detroit Lions +13 1/2 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- Lions aren't as bad as they are made out to be. Don't believe me? Ask Pittsburgh who barely got out of Detroit with a win.

Philadelphia Eagles -14 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- The Raiders are SOOOO bad that even their fans aren't watching.

Arizona Cardinals +3 @ Seattle Seahawks 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- Seattle will not shut out Arizona like they did Jacksonville.

Buffalo Bills +9 1/2 @ New York Jets 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- The Jets will win but won't cover this game.

Tennessee Titans +9 1/2 @ New England Patriots 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- The Patriots will send the Titans to their sixth straight loss.

Chicago Bears +3 @ Atlanta Falcons 8:20pm ( NBC ) --- Atlanta will only be home this week. They are in a stretch of four games in five weeks on the road. They are playing well. Look for them to beat the Bears.

Monday, October 19th,2009

Denver Broncos +3 1/2 @ San Diego Chargers 8:35pm ( ESPN ) --- Until the Chargers start winning, I can't pick them. Look for the Broncos to go to 6-0 in San Diego.

Kansas City Chiefs +6 @ Washington Redskins 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- I will take the Chiefs as there is no speculation that Todd Haley will be fired.

Houston Texans +5 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- I don't think the Bungles will show up anymore, therefore I will take the Bengals.

Cleveland Browns +14 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Hmm. Derek Anderson completed all of 2 passes last week. I have a feeling Cleveland has no quarterback if they're sticking with Derek.

Baltimore Ravens +3 @ Minnesota Vikings 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- I think Adrian Peterson will be the difference here. That Ravens defense has experienced some D drain this year.

St.Louis Rams +9 1/2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- Normally 9.5 is a big number to cover if two teams are bad. But St. Louis is so bad that I can't see them forcing Garrard into mistakes.

New York Giants +3 @ New Orleans Saints 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- If the Giants win, the road to the Superbowl could go through East Rutherford. I actually think the Giants can win this game, & I can't take these points fast enough.

Carolina Panthers -3 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- Even Jake Delhommme should be able to pass through a porous Buccaneers defense.

Detroit Lions +13 1/2 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- I took the Steelers vs. Detroit last week. I'm not making the same mistake since Rodgers is running for his life.

Philadelphia Eagles -14 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- There is nothing going on in Raider land that makes me think they can score more than 14 & stop Philadelphia from scoring 28+ points .

Arizona Cardinals +3 @ Seattle Seahawks 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- That 41-0 game had to be a fluke. I'm fairly certain that an aging Kurt Warner can put up at least 21 on the Seahawks.

Buffalo Bills +9 1/2 @ New York Jets 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- Wow. Losing to previously winless Cleveland does not make one think they can avoid double digits vs. an angry Jets defense.

Tennessee Titans +9 1/2 @ New England Patriots 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- The Patriots of 2009 aren't the same as the Patriots of 2007.

Chicago Bears +3 @ Atlanta Falcons 8:20pm ( NBC ) --- Two equal teams, I'll go with a hunch & take the home team.

Monday, October 19th,2009

Denver Broncos +3 1/2 @ San Diego Chargers 8:35pm ( ESPN ) --- Let me get this straight: Denver, the undefeated team, is an underdog vs. a craphappy team? I can't take these points fast enough!

what were last week's results?

Sunday, October 18th,2009

Kansas City Chiefs +6 @ Washington Redskins 1:00pm ( CBS )
Washington seems in disarray, 6 points is too much here..KC may even get win #1.

Houston Texans +5 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm ( CBS )
Again, I think this is a close game with a possibly Houston pulling an upset on a overconfident Bengals team.

Cleveland Browns +14 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS )
I got burned last week taking the high points here, but Polamalu is back and its at Pittsburgh. Ill take the risk.

Baltimore Ravens +3 @ Minnesota Vikings 1:00pm ( CBS )
Minnesota looks pretty good here. I think at home they should win.

St.Louis Rams +9 1/2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00pm ( FOX )
They wont sit Mike Sims-Walker, Jacksonville feels embarrassed from last week. Ill take the Jags.

New York Giants +3 @ New Orleans Saints 1:00pm ( FOX )
Saints are very good, I just think the Giants are a more complete team.

Carolina Panthers -3 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00pm ( FOX )
2 in row for Carolina?? Can it be? I think so.

Detroit Lions +13 1/2 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( FOX )
Teams seem not to cover against the scrappy Lions. Ill take Detroit here.

Philadelphia Eagles -14 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( FOX )
Do I need an explanation here? Its Oakland.

Arizona Cardinals +3 @ Seattle Seahawks 4:05pm ( FOX )
Hasselbeck back and Arizona gonna be in trouble...hey now, hey now....

Buffalo Bills +9 1/2 @ New York Jets 4:15pm ( CBS )
Speaking of teams that are like a boat without a captain....Buffalo. After looking good early in the season, its been a tailspin. Take the Jets.

Tennessee Titans +9 1/2
@ New England Patriots 4:15pm ( CBS )
Game is going to be closer than the spread. Ill take the points.

Chicago Bears +3 @ Atlanta Falcons 8:20pm ( NBC )
Atlanta at home is worth the win.

Monday, October 19th,2009

Denver Broncos +3 1/2 @ San Diego Chargers 8:35pm ( ESPN )
San Diego needs this win soooo badly. They will finally play like the Chargers of the end of last season.

Real or imaginary, I like Robs friend. He has yet to flame anyone, or brag about how much he can bench press or show any type of cliquish behaviour.:headpat: Hopefully he is a Democrat who will make Rob more "fair and balanced." Anyway, here are my picks.

Kansas City

seeing how I am sitting pretty in 2nd right now I have only this very mature reply to you TF4F...

:neenerneener:

Yeah, but we will see. There is STILL many weeks to go. There is still 189 games ( including this week's games ) to pick from. And I only trail you by three games. I could take care of that TODAY.
