Kura Tumanako, who lives in Hastings in New Zealand's North Island, admits to breastfeeding her pet Staffordshire bull terrier for the past two weeks. She claimed that she started breastfeeding the puppy when her daughter stopped taking her milk. She said she didn’t want it to go to waste. Tumanako plans to wean the puppy off in about six weeks. Her daughter, who is two months old, is only using bottled milk. Her reason for doing this is so that it will be raised with her baby and will protect her as they grow.
