Weirdest thing you ever thought about at work...

What's the weirdest thing you ever had pop into your head at work?

Here's mine. It happened today, I work in an office on the top floor. I just start staring outside and then I say, out loud, to the person sitting in the cube next to me "What would you do if you just saw a pterodactyl flying around the building?"

Bless his little heart, he thought a minute and replied "I'd try to jump on its back and ride it like in Avatar."


Any strange thoughts out there?

I work for an armored car company. A buddy of mine and I joke about hypothetical, absurd policy changes, such as our company requiring us to carry chainsaws into all customer locations, or how we'd react to a zombie apocalypse. Another weird one that comes to mind was when we were imagining what it would be like if we all dressed as pirates instead of armed guards, talked like pirates (It would be policy to talk like a pirate!), carried cutlasses instead of guns, and required our customers to give us their deposits in leather pouches, which we'd refer to as booty, and keep in a chest instead of a safe. Our radios would be big, shoulder parrots. Our "armored car" would be a big, pirate ship with wheels and a crow's nest.
