Hello everyone,

My name is Francois, and the purpose of this post is to welcome you all to my new tickling video company and store, The Last Laugh, as well as to tell you about my very first video, Last Laugh Alpha. You can learn pretty much all you need to know about them on my website (www.thelastlaughinc.com), especially on the FAQ page, but I'd still like to give you the basics right here. I apologize for the redundancy this involves.

THE LAST LAUGH

The Last Laugh is a sideline project for me. I have a regular job, and I run my company during my free time as a hobby of sorts. It's a small amateur home company and I'm the only person involved, aside from the models.

My goal is to produce amateur videos for ticklephiles who prefer the more down-to-earth side of tickling. My models are regular, natural everyday girls with little or no modeling experience. While I do try to hire girls with pleasant looks, my selection criteria in that department aren't especially strict, as I feel that anyone who's open-minded, enthusiastic, playful, and most importantly very ticklish, has the potential to be an excellent tickling model. That's not to say that my videos won't feature pretty models. It's just that I don't go for glamor. My personal bias is for the girl-next-door amateur, not the professional.

Along the same lines, my videos don't contain nudity or skimpy outfits. Nor do they feature any sexual activity. The models wear their everyday clothes. I understand that many people prefer some more adult elements in their tickling footage, and that's fine. To each his/her own. However, that's not the direction I want to take with my company. I wouldn't be comfortable with that. Anyway, there are many companies out there that do a great job with videos of that nature already.

Now, my videos may be basically "clean", but that doesn't mean the models don't get tickled real good. As is the case with several of the fine tickling video companies found online, all my models are genuinely ticklish and get tickled for real. It can be light and playful at times, but it can also get quite intense. Also, I do use various methods of "bondage" (so to speak) to add spice to the action and to improve the effectiveness of the tickling. Nothing hardcore, just some basic tricks to help the tickler do a better job. This includes a very convenient massage table with an adjustable backrest and a set of stocks attached to the other end

My videos are amateur in nature, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Although I'm not a professional videographer I can operate a camcorder reasonably well, and I have excellent video equipment. Besides, my opinion is that an amateur feel can make a tickling video more realistic. It makes it easier to identify with the situation.

One special feature of my company is that, since I live in Quebec City, Canada, most of my models speak French. While many are fairly decent with English, I prefer not to sacrifice spontaneity by forcing them to speak it. I know that sometimes it can be interesting to know what's being said, but after all, laughter is laughter, no matter what the language is. So I'm hoping it won't pose much of a problem. Actually, some people might even find it exotic.

LAST LAUGH ALPHA

This is my very first video. You can read a lengthy description and see many sample pictures on the appropriate pages of my website.

The models are Marie and Isabelle, two good friends who are also roommates. They're both young, cute, playful, enthusiastic, open-minded, and of course, ticklish. They take turns tickling each other in various positions using my special massage table with stocks at one end. They both enjoyed the experience, even if it was quite an ordeal at times. They can be pretty mean with each other, in a playful way. The video features both upper body and foot tickling.

I'm offering The Last Laugh at a special low price of $15 (US funds) It's a way of welcoming you to my new company, of giving you an easily affordable taste of what my future videos should be like, and of thanking you for giving my company a chance. I'll admit that since this is my first video effort, it's not perfect (but what video is?), but I humbly think Last Laugh Alpha is a bargain for people who enjoy this type of tickling material.

This avdenture is a new experience for me. I have no idea how well it's going to go. I must admit I find it a little scary, launching a business like this. But I'll give it my best try, and hopefully I will be able to hang in there for a long time.

Now, I don't expect the be a major player in this business. I realize it's impossible to please everyone, and I know my videos won't be to everyone's tastes. But that's ok. As long as some people like my work, I'm happy. I hope I'll earn the support of many of the kind people from the tickling community so that I can continue offering good-quality videos for as long as possible.

Francois, I just read your post and then tooka look at your web-site. Here are my thoughts.

Mate, you may or may not know that I am planning a tickling video myself. If it ever gets done, it will be just like that! Speaking for myself, I have to admit that your style is the very best I have ever seen. (Of course I've just seen the write-up and the pictures, not the finished version.) The "girl next door" approach is the thing I like the best and I'm also a fan of the normal clothes approach. That may sound strange to some members, but I prefer it this way, to girls tied down naked or in skimpy bikinis. Another thing that I'm unquestionably a fan of is "oral tickling". I was delighted to see that this featured so prominently in your first video. I agree it's not foot worship, but a different form of tickling. It just happens to be my favourite technique for it and judging from the JPEGS on your site, it looks brilliant.

To summarise, your video looks like the best I've ever seen from any company on the market. As soon as I can arrange it, I will be into my local town and buying myself an international bank draft. Consider me your first customer my friend, and if your future releases are of a similar quality the I'll be your most prolific too. Right now I think you have the makings of being the BEST company on the market. Everything you did seems to have been written specifically for my tastes and I'm hoping you go from strength to strength in the future. Good luck my friend.

Many thanks for all your kind comments. It's a little scary to start such a company, but supporters such as yourself make it a lot easier.

I'm really sorry, I hope you don't mind too much my opening a tickling video store that's similar to your own project. I just thought there was a need for this kind of material and worked hard to come up with a company that would fill the gap. I wish you good luck with your own video. I know full well it's not always easy.

The down-to-earth, no nudity approach might not be as popular as we would like, but I get the impression there are more of us than is apparent. It's just that most companies offer more adult-oriented videos (nothing wrong with that), and thus one tends to hear more comments about those types of videos.

I don't know how many of my models will be open to tongue tickling, but I will certainly ask them all. Comments so far have indicated quite an interest in this kind of stuff. That's as close as I intend to get to "erotic" material.

I'm not sure I deserve all your kind words, and I definitely don't think I'm going to be the *best* company on the market. But I will work on producing the best non-nude, girl-next-door videos I can, hopefully improving each of them as I gain experience.

In any case, I'm really glad you like what you've seen so far, and I hope you enjoy the video itself if you decide to order it. It has its shortcomings, no doubt, but I'm still quite proud of what I've accomplished.

Writing the video's description was a lot of fun. At first I thought I had written too much, but really, what's wrong with that?

Glad you appreciated it Francois, you deserved every word.And I have definatley decided to buy your video. The only slight inconvenience is that I can't order it online because you don't have a credit card facility, but seeing as you've only just started that is totally understandable. As for being the "best", well only time will tell. What makes companies like TC and MTP so great is their consistency. Of course I meant "best" from my point of view only. I share your exact same taste in tickling, so for me your alpha vid looks like the best I've ever seen. One thing for you to remember though; there is no such thing as a major player in this business. Almost all of the prominent companies are single guy shows, or in the case of TC run by a couple.

One thing I might be interested in the future is ordering a custom video from you. So similar are our tastes that I'd even like to appear in it myself. I live in England, but I'd quite happily pay to fly to Canada to shoot it.(More money than sense I hear the TMF members cry!) As you prefer to remain off camera yourself, would this be something you'd consider if I was willing to fund the project?

Also, I'm not in the least bothered by you providing "rival" competition. The tickling world needs all the people providing material it can get and as you've proven youself up to delivering it would be churlish of me to be resentful. Especially as your video looks so damn good! LOL The difference between us is that you're much better at organising your business than I am. Mine is taking forever, whereas yours is of the ground.

By the way, my second favourite technique for torturing ticklish soles is the hairbrush. Damn man, are you telepathic!

Yeah, one's definition of "best" does indeed depend on one's personal preferences. I think it's safe to say I'll never reach the same level of professionalism as some of the other companies. But if someone prefers the type of tickling I do in my videos, then I guess my company can be fairly high on his/her list.

By "major player in this business" I meant my company compared to other companies. I realize that most are one-person business, and I can appreciate the work they put in their products. Same for other companies that aren't just one person but still have a small staff and yet produce great products on a regular basis.

Don't fret over your business taking time to become a reality. I worked about a year on mine before I got where I am, and I only just started offering my first video. These things take time. As well as money and a lot of trial-and-error work. Developing a thick skin also helps. It's not always just fun and games, far from it. Still, the rewards, like the support I'm getting, can be worth the trouble.

I'm glad you're ok with having The Last Laugh in the picture. I hope I'll get along with the other company owners as well.

I'm not much of a chat person, unless it's a private session with a good friend. However, I might drop in from time to time. Now that my company is public I guess it wouldn't hurt to become more involved.

As for my willingness, well I've already booked my place at a gathering in Wisconsin, so there are no limits to what I'd go to. I'm an artist and I must suffer for my craft. (LOL Methinks I won't be the one suffering for long though!)

Thank you for understanding. I like your "swimmer dropped in the middle of the ocean" metaphor. I must say it rings true. I'm afraid I need to take care of some other issues and gain some experience before I can justify handling more complex things like a custom video.

I admire your dedication to your craft, heheheh! That must be quite an adventure, crossing an ocean to attend a gathering. Of course, what little I've read about those events sounds a lot of fun, so I can understand that some people go to great lengths to share in the fun. I must admit it's too big a trip and investment for me. Still, I hope you have a great time, as well as all the other participants. The ticklees sure have guts. Good luck!

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but even though you'll probably be one of my first customers, you're too late to be *the* first. You see, a couple weeks ago a resourceful person discovered my website before I started advertising it (I normally would have done so a week or two later). It got mentioned on the Links/Updates forum, and two threads have emerged from it on that forum. This thread about The Last Laugh may be the first official one on the main Tickling Discussion forum, but not the very first mention of TLL on the TMF.

Of course, just because you're not the first doesn't mean I value your support any less. Same goes to all the good people from the TMF who took the time to check out my site. I am most grateful for all the positive comments I got so far.

Not only that, but if you focus on quality more than quantity, then your tickling videos will really be cool. ( i'm sure the first one you made is good...i just can't order any right now...don't need mom findin any in the mailbox. lol )

It seems kind of like being a martial arts instructor. Would you rather focus on turning as many people as you can into black-belts, even though they probably won't have much skill? ..or would you rather have only a few EXCELLENT black-belt students? 😉

Just one question about custom videos...could we ask the models to wear certain things for any custom videos we order? Nothing skimpy of course. (for example, if i wanted to see one of the models in a trenchcoat while being tickled...heck, i'd even buy the model the coat. lol )

I certainly hope that the videos I make will please most people who buy them (well, obviously). I wouldn't be very happy if I sold many copies but half the customers weren't happy with the product, even if it meant more sales for the particular videos. In the long run, I'd get less orders, and then no one would be happy (especially not me).

On the other hand, I can't say I'd be happy if I sold only three copies of a video, even if the customers were super thrilled with it to a "black-belt" level, heheh. I wouldn't be able to go on producing more videos, and The Last Laugh would be finished.

Regarding custom videos, well, I'm not too sure I'm quite ready to handle that kind of order yet. I'm still too new and inexperienced. I'd be afraid of messing it up, wasting the money of a trusting customer. So unless a request is very simple and can have some appeal for most people (in which case I can decide to include it in a regular video for the fun of it), I think I prefer to wait until I improve my technique. Then again, if someone understands my limitations, accepts them and requests a type of video that I myself would enjoy making, maybe we could discuss the possibility.

A trenchcoat, huh? Heheh, that's interesting. I don't see a big problem with that. I would indeed like to have models wear unusual clothes in some of my future videos, just for the contrast effect. I don't know, like foot tickling in a ski suit, for example.

It's ok if you prefer not to order Last Last Alpha if it makes you uncomfortable. It's your call. However, the packages I send are pretty non-descript, being simple orange bubble envelopes with my own name and address as the return address ( can even drop my name if it seems unusal for some to get mail from a French-speaking person). I can also use another system if someone really wants me to. Anyway, let me know if you change your mind.

Just had an idea Francois, see what you think.

If you ever get a model who does martial arts, it'd be very funny and decidedly cute to see them tickled wearing their martial arts suit. This was done once before, but only the once and I'd love to see it again. By the way, one thing I love to see in videos if very intense tickling. Once the two girls had warmed to their task, what would you have given them on a scale of 1-10 on the "Mercilessness" scale?

You're company seems very promising. Unfortunately I have the same problem as Jason, heh. Living at home sucks. I do have 1 suggestion though. Make some short but sweet video preview clips for your videos. They seem to help the buyer get a better idea of what is in the video. Best of luck!

Ah yes, if I remember correctly, Jeff from MTP did such a scene. Very cute. It's certainly an interesting idea. I'll see what I can do in the future. After all, it's important to vary the content of the videos, without necessarily having to make huge productions out of them.

When I deal with a candidate I have her answer a questionnaire. Among other things I ask her what resources she can provide for a potential session. Things like special clothes, accessories, physical talents, interesting places we can use as studios, ideas for original tickling or bondage techniques, etc. If someone has a martial arts outfit or something like that it should come out in the questionnaire.

Hmm, rating the mercilessness of Last Laugh Alpha's models...Well, it's really hard to answer that one, because there's such variation in the video.

As many people who've read the description of the video know, the session was originally meant to be an audition. So to be perfectly honest, sometimes it was hard to justify asking them to be especially merciless with each other. They weren't being paid at the time, after all. The main idea was to study their reactions to various techniques, not to see how sadistic they could be or how much endurance they had (though we did test them to some extent, as it's an important issue for a good video). So some scenes don't last quite as long as they would have had we known I would be selling the video. And some were more like playful teasing than tickle torture.

However, it goes without saying that a video that lasts 60 minutes must also feature some longer, more intense scenes. After all, the girls were the ones responsible for that session lasting so long, as they were quite into it (for fun, I mean, not for fetish-related reasons). They could get pretty mean to each other when they wanted to.

I'm sorry I don't know how to answer your question in a more objective way. When it comes to intensity there should be scenes for all tastes. You should get a better answer if and when you see some actual footage.

I'm sorry that you feel your home situation isn't ideal for ordering a video. However, unless your family members (I assume) find it strange that you get packages from time to time, or tend to open your mail without your permission, I don't think the risk is that high. The package can be very discreet. Or maybe you could have the package sent to a safer place (a friend's home, for instance). But I realize I'm not entirely aware of your situation, so it's your call. Let me know if you change your mind.

As for a preview clip, I'm working on it right now. It shouldn't be too long before it's ready. I'm hoping I can post it within a week or so.

I'm glad you were satisfied with my answer about the intensity of the tickling in Last Laugh Alpha. It really varies too much to rate it.

As for the bank draft (I'm sorry, English isn't my first language: is that a money order?), it depends on where you live. Canadian customers can pay in Canadian dollars. All others must use American funds.
