I have once again re-opened our doors to the tickling community. I know you are all dying to know what happened to the site last time, and you do deserve a honest answer.
We were being hosted for free by a company who was at first generous enough to offer their hosting services. However, when new management took over for the company they decided not to keep Tickle Theater hosted. So without so much as a warning, they deleted the entire site from under us meaning all of the data was lost. That, combined with mischievous people sending Tickle Theater DOS (Denial of Service) attacks caused me to take a break from the tickle community. Which actually wasn't so bad for me because I became much more social with the outside world, so it was like a little vacation. Not saying that I don't love doing this site, but it's just nice to take a break (from anything) every once in awhile right?
So here is where we stand. I have gone with paid hosting because you just can't depend on other companies to host your entire site for free without having the risk of them going back on their word. And, while the site as a whole is free, I did secure a deal with a host to offer free hosting on our media content. That means even if the deal falls through, the site as a whole will remain intact, and that's what we all really want correct?
So checkout the site, please use the site poll to let me know what you think of the new design. The vBuploading may not work right off the bat, there is an issue between Plesk and vBulletin. Please stay tuned for the list of changes Tickle Theater will be making in how we run things.
Take care,
