What (alcoholic) drinks do you like?

Vodka.

Long Island Iced Tea.

Tequila.

Smirnoff Ice

Mike's Hard Lemonade

But yeah, I'm really sick of Sex on the Beach. Too many underage girls think that is like the best drink ever.
And Scotch...gross.

A friend of mine was hooked on these things... when she got pregnant I told her she was gonna have to make them virgins til after the baby was born. She wondered what a virgin Sex on the Beach would be called.
I told her that it'd probably be cool if she asked the bartender for...

A Sandy HandJob!

BTW... juat out of curiosity...
What IS the name for a virgin Sex on the Beach???

I don't know, but I'm sure the words "painful" and/or "uncomfortable" would be involved.

Hmm mmm

1. JD & coke (absolutely top spot *drool* 😉)
2. Polish vodka
3. Margherita (strawberry mostly)
4. Champagne sangrias
5. Drambuie

Hmm now where's my drink... :idunno:

I only drink occasionally but i like all different kinds of drinks. I love scotch (Johnny Walker Blue if i can afford it) Beer, Wine, Vodka, Rum, and list keeps on going. It all depends on what the occasion is and what i'm in the mood for.

I seldom drink much anymore but...
For straight shots it's gotta be Southern Comfort, though I have to chace it with Coca Cola.
Beer...Sam Adams, Narragansett, Kirin and Newcastle Brown Ale
Mixed drink...basic, wimpy Kahlua and milk.

I usually drink Guinness. Preferred mixed drink is bourbon and water. Other non-wheat-based beers, various wines, a smooth aged Scotch, Kahlua and coffee, Bloody Mary, especially if made by one of my favorite bartenders--pretty much whatever I feel like at a given time. Same for shots; it's a mood thing.

As most of you know (or perhaps not), I make the BEST Margaritas in the world. All ingredients are smuggled in from across the Rio Grande. Including Margarita herself.

Here's one for you:

I like Bloody Marys, Vodka and Cranberry Juice, Rum and Coke. I'm also fond of a liquor called 43 - Cuarenta y Tres, imported from Spain, I think. Great stuff. http://www.licor43usa.com/

I normally only drink beer these days, i love german beer like becks or st. pauli girl , although good old USA samuel adams is right up there as well. i dont drink much liquor anymore, but i had the best damn margueritas last year that i made with a bottle of sammy hagar's "cabo wabo" tequila, thats the only tequila i could even think about drinking straight. pretty expensive, but well worth it....... :couch:

I go for straight sippin' likkers.

My first choice is usually the darkest available rum, Goslings Black Seal from Bermuda or Rhum Negrita from Haiti. Rhum Barbancourt from Martinique is not bad, and Meyer's Dark Jamaican is acceptable.
For any of these; they are pretty mellow and sweet for hard liquor. If You must mix them, try Cherry Coke, or sweetened coffee; They are all strong enough in flavour that you can taste them through strong flavored mixers like that.
In winter, try a double of any of these rums in a large mug of strong black tea, with a huge glob of dark buckwheat honey, the juice of half a lemon, and a pat of butter melted into it. Best throat soother in world! Dark rum works well in hot chocolate too.

My second choice is brandy. I'm not surprised you needed to mix E&J; it's cheap guzzle. Try something like Marquis De Cussaude Armagnac or Metaxa 5 star Greek (not the seven star, they took all the flavor out. The Spanish brandies made from the same grapes as Sherry wine and aged in barrels previously used to age Sherry wine are also very tasty staright up. For not too pricey, go for Tres Cepas, Fundador or Presidente. For really high end, well aged, there's always Cardenal Mendoza, Gran Duque De Alba, or Lepanto.
If you must mix a brandy, try it with tonic or ginger ale, or something like 7 up or sprint. In winter, this is another that works real well in sweet coffee.

For wines, for general tipple I like red Bordeaux, especially Medocs, St. Emilions and Chateauneuf Du Papes. Italian reds like Aglianico Del Vultore, Barberone, or EST EST EST De Montefiascone are way more mellow than the Chiantis, which are often harsh to the unnaccustomed. Lately, I've developed a real taste for Australian Shiraz with a romantic dinner for two while playing an extended version of "Desert Rose" by Sting in the background. Very effective combination. :firedevil But, I digress. 😛

For desserts, Port, Cream Sherry, Sweet Madeira, or a German white Auslese grade Rhine or Alsatian is usually pretty good, a German or Austrian Frostwine or Icewine is an exceptional dessert. :happyfloa

Beers? I like 'em rich, dark and thick. Something like Mackeson Stout or a good solid Porter. Lager is only good for mixing with real (dark) beer to make a Black and Tan if you can't lay hands on a strong tasting ale to use instead.
Lite beer is great for ridding sheep of insect infestations. Other than that, I think it tastes like some one else already drank it and then deposited it back in the bottle. :shake: :wow:

Uhmn, Ray?

What he said......................... except make mine a double!

Anything that will lighten people up for those political folks here on the forum. I mean, have a drink, relax, it's all good. It's gonna be o.k. Really. :evilha:

Manly a beer drinker Bud, Corona etc but sometimes i go wild and have Southern Comfort with Lemonade :Hyrdrogen

Zombie's , Strong- Long Island Ice Tea , Southern Comfort on the rocks .

I've discovered: Don't ever utter the sentence "I'll just finish out the bottle." It's a bad idea. Especially if siad bottle is a jug. THere is a LOT OF FUCKING WINE at the bottom of that jug.

Regarding the title of this thread;

It's not that the drinks are alcoholic.
It's that the people who drink them are. :smilestar
Alcoholics unanimous.
:devil2:

I agree, mastertank! I'm forced to agree, due to the definition of 'unanimity.'

(It took me 2 minutes and 5 re-tries to get every word spelled correctly). Drunk? Bah. I prefer to think of it as having a dancing center of gravity, creative focal points, and being able to go swimming in my own head. Oh, it's naptime now)
