I love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like...VICTORY!

Campfire, fall, rain...these smells are quite calming to me. I also enjoy the smell of cherry tobacco when it's being smoked from a pipe (I don't smoke myself).

When I was in the army, during our lectures on chemical warfare we were shown a chart outlining the characteristics of various agents. One of the columns was "smell": nerve toxins were associated with bitter almonds, blood agents smelt like "freshly mowed hay", etc. I always wondered how the people who made this chart collected their data. Did they expose someone to this stuff and then hand them a questionnaire? It all seemed kinda strange to me.
 
Leaves, barbecues and fireworks. That eggy, burned cardboard smell that hangs in the air wherever you go on Bommie Night; love it! 🙂
 
My absolute favorite smell is probably either vanilla or cinnamon. I also love the smell of peaches, apples, and right after a light rain in the spring.
 
Ok, this reminds me of a story.

My friend used to have this really sleazy flatmate, a bodybuilder/telephone banker, always trying to be as heterosexual as possible, and unfortunately letching on me whenever I was around.

So one evening, I was at this friends place, we were having a bottle of wine and making dinner, when the flatmate appeared and perched his testosterone-dripping self on the kitchen counter.

Just before he arrived, me and my friend had just been discussing best questions to ask at a boring party, either to get a conversation moving or to make a person go away. We had decided that asking a person their favourite smell would be a good one.

So I said to sleazy, 'Flatmate, what is your favourite smell?'. Without missing a beat, he looked intensely into my eyes and said 'My favourite smell is zee sweat from a woman's body'.

Yeah.

Warm Vanilla Sugar), the smell of my grandmother's real
Italian red sauce simmering, chocolate chip cookies,
sheets that have been dried on the clothesline... I'm

And Lady Stetson. I know...it's cheap stuff. Sue me. For some reason, the scent of Lady Stetson drives me nuts.
 
My perfume is Japanese Cherry Blossom. I really love that.

I also love rain. And other stuff.

I know the feeling. I had an ex-gf that wore Lady Stetson. Drove me fuckin' nuts....literally!

I like citrus scents. Like my perfume from the Body Shop. Also apples and things like clean laundry.

The smells of summer. Freshly mowed grass. Honeysuckle. Wild mint. An oncoming rain storm. The neighbors' barbeque.

Scented candles are nice. My favorite is Bayberry.

I'm not a big fan of colognes, as most people that use them tend to bath in the shit. I'll wear Lagerfeld or Old Spice, but that's pretty rare.

Herbal Essence shampoo.

Fresh Mayorga Coffee beans. (My doctor said, "Mayorga!")

How could I forget JD, crappity crap, I always have to sniff it when I open the bottle or pour it. I love the smell and taste of it. :devil:
