What are your favourite computer/video games?

Heh thanks for the support, but any long time Civ fans (those that have been Civ-ing since Civ 1) would be more than welcomed to write up a more accurate review of Civ 4.

At this point I'll like to add that those who are considering on purchasing Civ 4 might want to hold on to their money for a bit. Their latest patch (1.09) made the game extremely unstable. The major Civ forums are now flooded with angry fans complaining about crashes and forced reboots that are frequent and without warning.

It's highly recommended to just wait until they've fixed these errors before getting the game, unless you're extremely eager to play it, in which case feel free to take the risk.
 
I've played Civ 1 2 and 3, Alpha centurai, call to power and colonization, so I would consider myself a long time civ fan 😉 .
 
I've just borrowed Age of Mythology The Titans Expansion form a friend of mine (you know, need to do something for 2 more weeks! 😉), and I found it quiet cool. Its made from the creators of Age of Empires 1 and 2, (and who knows, maybe 3? 😉), and its really got some cool graphics. (I REALLY like the water, thats a HUGE upgrade since the age of empires games, not to mention the looks and all). Of course, its nothing like the new Civ 4 and Age of Empires 3, for it came out like a year ago, maybe more, but heck, just mentioning it. :happy:

This thread seemed to go from vid games to entree's..Calamari? Anyway, here's my list:
1. Black and White
2. Black and White 2
3. GTA Vice City
4. NFS Underground 2
5. Any of the Leisure Suit Larry games.

Black and White 1 & 2 are 2 of the greatest games I've played to date. The whole idea of choosing your own destiny of being an evil god, or good is quite appealing. The second is a little more refined than the first and if you've played them, you will understand what I mean.

GTA Vice City is a complete riot to play simply because of the way they covered the 80's. The white suits, the pop music. Plus it had a very noticeable Scarface feel to it.

Need for Speed Underground 2 is one of the better driver sims out there for ps2. A dissapointment that you can't get the in car camera view, but that would require too much memory. Plus the fact that you can dress up a plain jane car anyway you choose is quite appealing.

Lets face it, Leisure Suit Larry is one of the most comical game series out there. I can play the most recent to the oldest one again and again, and not get tired of it. Its one of the few out there, that once I finished the game, I did'nt sell it. They're just too freakin funny.
 
I like some generic computer game to bring this thread back on topic ^^ .
 
I'm working on getting back into the X-Men: Legends games. They aren't too bad, though it sucks when most of your teammates are knocked out and you have just one man left to face three Sentinels. I still don't know how I pulled that off.
 
Only for the first six months? I actually uninstalled it for Half Life 2, and after completing half life 2, I reinstalled Morrowind and I am still playing it now, only that my plugins list keeps growing.
