I like posting because it allows me to get to know others on the forum, and in itsy bitsy pieces, allows others to get to know me. If I'm taking a break from doing something else, or am bored, it's a great way to kill time. Better than most TV.

I also freakin love the "Name a City" thread. I could post there all day.

Why? In the beginning I came for the tickling material.

Now, I'm involved mostly for religious and political debates, to alleviate boredom, and to stay connected enough to actually meet folks in person -- usually at gatherings.

Visiting the forums and posting on the forums are two different things.

Visiting - I have been a lurker for the best part of this decade. I like reading other people's thoughts on the forums, but mostly to check out clips and other contents. I was too uncomfortable with sharing my tickling interests with other people, and I used to come up with all sorts of excuses just to get a dose of tickling. Those were the days.

When I decided to de-lurk last year, I did so out of a desire to meet fellow tickle enthusiasts, not so much hoping to ever meet anyone (being in Australia, it's not easy organising or attending gatherings which seems much more prevalent in the US). And to share ideas about introducing friends into the world of tickling in a healthy way.

I often wonder why a lot of people come here, and whether people come here for the same reasons that I do. For me, its more than just getting my hands on some tickling material (I'm not sure if I'm even into tickling anymore for various reasons), but more because its a place of refuge. I have only told one person about my fetish (it turned out for the worst) and I'm scared to tell anybody else ever again so coming here feels like a massive weight off my chest because the dark secrets are exposed by default and I don't really want to talk about tickling that much when I'm here but just interact with people who do share that strong interest that underpins a huge part of who I am. How does everybody else feel and why do you come here?

I agree with you almost 100%.
I am totally secret about my fetish and I love coming here because I feel I can be who I really am.
Tickling is a big part of my life and when I am here I feel most comfortable with who I am and love that I can share a common interest with so many nice people!
