Traditionally, Germans eat either a roasted goose or a carp for Xmas feast (usually lunch on Dec 25).
I'm less traditional. As my two daughters dropped by for dinner, I just had a normal (late) breakfast and postponed the feast till I had company.
For starters, we had crab paté on toast, then some wonderful venison steak with burgundy/cranberry sauce, Brussel sprouts and Pommes Croquettes. The kids hat some cinnamon icecream for dessert, and I treated myself with a large cognac and a relaxing pipe.
Now I'm curious about your Xmas feast!
